KYOTO TOKYU HOTEL

Breakfast is advertised until 10:00, but the staff starts clearing the buffet as early as 9:30. On top of that, many items are not being replenished even before 9:30. When I asked the staff to refill the food and pointed out that breakfast was supposed to be available for another 30 minutes, they simply said they didn’t have any more and showed no interest in addressing the issue. I have never experienced such an attitude from hotel staff before. If breakfast is advertised until 10:00, I expect the full buffet selection to remain available until that time and the staff to respond appropriately to guests’ requests. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Location is quite good but check in was 50 mins late so we had to wait in the lobby.

I have booked this hotel for 3 nights.Except for its location which is secluded and the lack of the washing machine,it’s really a good choice to book such a big room for such a low price there.It is worth booking for those who wanna have a nice living experience at a low cost.

Loved the hotel! The lobby area has water fountain and plants, which makes very enjoyable to look at. The room is spotless. Bus stops are nearby, and Shuttle buses from and to Kyoto station were super helpful! Can’t wait to come back again!

I stayed at the Kyoto Tokyu Hotel recently, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel has a calm and polished atmosphere that feels very typical of a high-quality Japanese hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which allowed me to get a good night's rest after a long day of sightseeing. I particularly appreciated the quiet environment.
