I think it is the best place to get an experience in ryokan and onsen. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only one thing that I was disappointed with is that onsen closes at 9.00 in the morning while checking out is at 10.00.

Very clean and comfortable place with good location near the city.

Stay 1 night. The ryokan is located within less than 10 mins walking distance to the subway. It has a peaceful and calm ambience. Staff was friendly and welcoming when we stepped in. There are 2 wings (North and South). Public bath are located at 2 locations (basement and 2nd floor). Room is spacious in Japanese tatami style. All bed and blanket are keep in cupboard. When you out, they will help you setup the bed. Breakfast was sumptuous and fulfilling too. Overall experience is great!

I said I would be leaving at 11pm and got lost. Even though I got there late, they came out to meet me and told me in detail about the location of the bathroom and kimono room and how to use it, and even helped me carry my luggage. Google Maps was a little weird, but it was easy to find. All amenities are provided and two large towels are provided so you can enter the bathhouse in the morning and evening. The snacks provided in the room were also very delicious.

The best hotel for this trip, 10 minutes walk from Nishiki Market and Shijo, 5 minutes walk from Karasuma Oike Station, and three subway stops to Kyoto Station. Quiet in the bustling city, Japanese style, large room, complete facilities, quiet, friendly and warm, two ♨️, few people, crazy all day and hot spring at night very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner kaiseki cuisine, super good!
