It’s a good walk down the road from the subway station but handy for the number 12 bus to the main tourist attractions. Rooms were basic and a bit old fashioned , window view was a brick wall! Check in staff were friendly and their English was good.We only stayed 1 night

An excellent location with subway and bus station nearby. 2 supermarkets on the left and right. We are able to access to all the shrines and tourist area. So convenient. Hotel is very clean and helpful. Highly recommended to all. It has a buffet breakfast too.

This has to be my favourite hotel chain as they were most helpful, stored our luggage on our last day after check out, had many freebies, great breakfast and was close to the train and bus stations as well as Nishiki Market! Forgot my newly purchased shirt and they were shipped it to my next MyStays hotel right away! Room was very clean and spacious.

Nice location but a little out of the way. Easy to walk to a subway so if you don’t mind walking it is a good place for you.

Room was surprisingly spacious and location to shopping and tourist attractions are close by via bus.

Far from subway station but bus station is just across the street. Good, big room big bathtub. The biggest hotel we have stayed through Kyoto and Osaka. Just the lobby located at 2nd floor. Ice maker and free drinks available. Good. Better stay another area if u want shopping, quite far to walk

Nice cosy hotel, Short walking distance to the closest train station. Free drinks available.

Hotel furnitures seem old. Car park is available and chargeable but advisable to park elsewhere if you’re returning to hotel after 11 PM because hotel car park is closed after 11 pm hence I paid at other car park.

Nice and convenient hotel. We have paid 5000 yen more for top floor with balcony, really valued for it. Will back again when my next trip in Kyoto.

It was a wonderful journey. My family enjoyed the breakfast and the matcha/coffee machine they provided. The location was great as well.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude. Before arriving in Kyoto on June 29th and checking in, I encountered difficulties due to my backpack (phone, passport, etc.) being left on the tram. With the patient help of employee whose name is "SHIMIZU", She helped to contact with the tram operation company and found my backpack. I am very grateful for SHIMIZU's strong help and patient contact. As you know it is really trouble to lose my passport, So I am really grateful for retrieving my backpack so quickly, and once again, I would like to express my gratitude and many thanks to SHIMIZU.
