Although the room is relatively small, it has everything it needs and is still nice to live in. National hatred and family feuds, but I appreciate their indoor shooting. It is cleaned very well, and there is no scale on the sink countertop. The hotel breakfast is not recommended, 1000 yen, and it is Western food, which is not cost-effective and not very good. It is about 20 minutes walk from Kyoto Station. There is a Daiei Ramen next to it. I saw locals queuing every day. I tried it and it was really delicious.

The experience was very good. The lobby on the first floor is very unique and I like it very much. The bedding is very good, especially the pillows. I really like them very much and they are very comfortable to sleep on. I will come again if I have the chance.

The room is generally good. The location is between Kujo and Jujo subway stations. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet, but it is very close to Kyoto Station. The hotel environment is good, but the room corridor is an old hotel that has been renovated. The facilities are relatively old and the door is opened with a key. But the hygiene and other aspects are very good. I give it a score of 4.5 because I feel it is a bit different from my expectations.

I felt like this was a place that focused on what guests needed while staying in their rooms, beyond hotel services. However, there was something like water stains in the bathroom bathtub, so I had to wipe it off before using it, which was a bit disappointing.

My favourite Kyoto hotel. A one of a kind find - a lot of thought went into the design of this small hotel, which is intimate, friendly and efficient. Oh yeah, and very good value. And a gallery too. The people at reception are always informed and helpful. Breakfasts are bountiful and healthy and the coffee's good. And the library/bar off the breakfast room is a great place to drink and look at art books. My room was spacious and bright. The garden off my room was the one disappointment - it looked more like a vacant lot than a garden. A bit barren rather than minimalist. But everything else was first-rate.
