Room is a bit small but Kyoto in general doesn't have the same type of hotel as a big city like Tokyo/Osaka WIth that said the room was clean, staff were professional, decor was nice, what more can you ask for.

Only first time trying this hotel. Surprisingly got free upgrade to their best suite for our silver wedding anniversary! All hotel staff we’ve come across are very cheerful & helpful and made us feel so warm at our stay. Room service is also of very high quality at reasonable price range 🥰

Every hotel member is really friendly and helpful, from restaurant reservation to sightseeing route. The room is clean and well-equipped. Our 8-day stay has been very welcoming.

Amazing place! We loved the food, the service quality, proximity to the temples, museums, malls and convenience stores. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The stay was peaceful and memorable. Thank you Hyatt Regency.

best concierge ever.

Due to old facilities, the air conditioner did not work on the day we checked in. But the service was OK. Because the room was fully booked that day, we immediately changed to a room of the same level, and arranged an upgraded room the next day. But the only drawback was that I found blood stains on the sheets in the room, and asked the waiter to change the sheets, which made me sleep very late. The atmosphere and breakfast of the hotel are impeccable, and the service is also good.

The hotel is a bit too old, the room hygiene is not good, we adults all feel uncomfortable in the eyes, the daughter had conjunctivitis after taking a bath on the first day, and the son also had conjunctivitis on the second day. Fortunately, there is a pharmacy nearby, and I bought eye drops. The service of the hotel is very poor. I asked for a cart, but no one came for 15 minutes. The only good thing is the breakfast, which has a rich variety and can be ordered. But I will not come again

It is convenient to go to the museum, the location is not bad! Breakfast is OK! The room was arranged in a place where there is no sunlight and the corridor is outside the window. Because I was too tired, I stayed for two nights and was too lazy to change! The sound insulation is very poor, and there are all kinds of laughter and chatting at night...

The Hyatt's restaurants are very stable all over the world. The rooms are also large (by Japanese standards) and very suitable for families.

Kyoto is a tourist city with a huge crowd of people. The hotel is very good and antique. The breakfast is rich and the front desk staff is very enthusiastic. This time is just right for viewing cherry blossoms. I recommend it.

This is my second time staying at the Kyoto Hyatt. Last time I stayed on the second floor, and this time I stayed on the first floor. It faces the courtyard. The environment is good, the room is a good size, and the breakfast is rich. Just outside the door are the Sanjusangendo Temple and the National Museum, and it's not far from Kiyomizudera Temple. If you're in a good mood and the weather is good, it only takes 20 minutes to walk there. The more convenient one is the subway. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Shichijo Station. One stop to the west is Kiyomizudera Temple and three stops to the east is Fushimi Inari.

Hyatt's breakfast is very good and the transportation is convenient. It is recommended to stay here

The breakfast and service in the restaurant are great. This time, the menu has more Japanese set menu options. The chef is great and the service staff are always the best. The child still wants to sleep, so he handed over a blanket and even took the initiative to pack it. The breakfast is taken away for the children and it is very warm, so I will definitely stay here every time I come to Kyoto! It is within walking distance of the museum and 33 Gendo Hall, not far from Kyoto Station, and there are many specialty restaurants along the road.
