Great hotel to stay in, just opposite Kyoto station. Breakfast is Japanese/western buffet style.

Location was very good. It’s nearby to convenience store and train station. Room was clean and staff was friendly.

Location is the best. Just across the Kyoto Station. Alot of food shops outside the hotel. The best one is the Food Hall at the basement of Kyoto Tower. Alot of options and affordable choices.

Hotel is just opposite the Kyoto station which has Isetan and museum, and is linked to Porta Underground shopping mall - basement gourmet heaven! Very friendly staff and room is bigger than New Hankyu Osaka. Will stay again if I’m going to Kyoto.

Excellent service from the front desk and concierge who provided info on transport options and helped in baggages and packages. The location is good, near kyoto station and the buses. Shopping, food and convenience stores are within walking distance from the hotel. Recommended!

Convenient location, decent room size (in Japan), reasonable price

Room is big enough for luggages to be opened fully. Love the bath tub which is quite big as well. Some amenities like skincare set and cotton set will need to get from reception counter. Room is a lil dim. Location is very convenient as it is right opposite Kyoto station. Overall a satisfying stay.

We had the most pleasant stay at New Hankyu Kyoto compared to the other 4 hotels we checked-in in Osaka and Kyoto, facilities in the room are modern and well-appointed. Location is really excellent with the entrance to the main station just in front of the hotel.

Location was very convenient to the JR Kyoto Railway as you can take trains to Osaka.

This is a very good and convenient hotel. There are shops for shopping, conveience stores, bakeries, restaurants nearby in the underground arcades. The Kyoto station is just 5-10mins walking. Clean and tidy room. Price is fairly reasonable.

Came back and stayed for a second time within 5 weeks coz we loved the location, though it needs more amenities to be considered a true 4 star, like an onsen, sauna or indoor pool. The location is unbeatable though as it's located right next to Kyoto Tower and across the road from Kyoto station and within 2 mins walk from all the dining options.

Excellent location. Kyoto station is right in front. Room is pretty small and there’s only housekeeping after 3 days of stay as they are practicing eco green environment.

Very nice hotel that is right beside the Kyoto main station. We stayed in the Japanese room which was very modern and well furnished. There is no shortage of dining options both inside and surrounding the hotel. Only shortcoming is for some odd reason they don't provide coffee or ceylon tea in the room.
