We had the best time. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant/bar guy. We got in and hadn't slept in over 24 hours. And they got us right to our room and we passed out. The rooms are basic and it's all you need. The AC works SO amazingly. We even shut it off the second day and never needed it back on. Go look at the sunrises and sunsets of the volcano. It's worth it.

Room was large and comfortable. Food was excellent, bird watching was very interesting. Other services including a cold pool and a pool table were available but we haven't used it. A nice place to stay. Tours at reasonable prices are also available.

Lovely breakfast and from your breakfast table you have a good view of the Vulcano and there are some feeding platforms offering excellent bird viewing opportunities.The new pool is very beautiful and surrounded by natural water visited by iguanas, green basilisks and tiny red frogs.

The hotel was exceptional due to the open air breakfast location and being able to watch birds while eating breakfast. The staff at reception and the restaurant were amazing. They helped with arranging an excursion for ziplining that was discounted. The rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. Not much water pressure but it worked. Would have liked another hand towel or a washcloth. Coffeemaker, ground coffee, and refrigerator in the room was a plus. The cold pool was beautiful although a slight too cold for me to swim in.

J'ai un sentiment mitigé après mon passage dans cet hôtel début février 2024. J'ai aimé · : L'hôtel a l'écart de la ville tout en étant à 5mn du centreà pied - La vue sur le volcan Arenal au petit déjeuner - petit jardin avec quelques animaux - Petit déjeuner copieux compris dans prix. Je n'ai pas aimé : - Etablissement vieillot, - ma chambre coincée entre le mur donnant sur l'accueil et trois groupes externe de - climatisation donc très bruyante, - petite chambre, lit (130cm) ne correspondant pas à la taille décrite par booking lors de la commande, - Hormis à l'accueil personnel pas très souriant. Attention au photos aguicheuses. Mais ceci n'est que mon sentiment.

Good service, friendly staff, good area, a bit noisy from the other rooms and the front office, a litte ugly smell in the room and the water pressure at the shower is a shame

Such a lovely place to stay, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Short walk into town and close to all the amenities. The best thing about staying here is the amazing wildlife! In the morning they put out fruit for the birds by the restaurant, it's so worth spending some time sitting there and watching all the incredible birds that come to visit. Make sure you do the sloth tour with Armando! So reasonably priced, and he is so knowledgeable about all of the species you can find. We saw 9-10 sloths, snakes, iguanas and birds; later on he took us on a short night walk in the garden to find the tree frogs. Absolute expert and takes incredible photos through the scope, make sure you don't miss it!

I loved this place, it had a nice little pool, clean rooms , and I loved breakfast with the birds, also so many places too sit around at night. Armondo works there and took us on a sloth tour. He’s great! It’s very close to the town you don’t need a car to go.
