3 Bedrooms Villa with Private Pool
Our group is 3 families and total of 6 people including seniors and a young child.
This is a great property for its value. Due to the distance of the villa from the reception area, a car is absolutely neccessary. Anyone afraid of bugs should not stay here.
Pros:
1. Very large rooms with ensuite bathroom in each bedroom.
2. Surrounded by nature with amazing view.
3. Beds are comfortable. Total of 3 king and 2 twin beds.
4. Full kitchen with dining area.
5. Lots of windows and all doors are clear glass for tons of natural light.
6. Massage is good.
7. Reception will help with all tour booking requests.
Cons:
1. Building and furniture is showing age.
2. Private pool is almost always dirty due to the natural surroundings.
3. Poor lighting if there is no natural light.
4. No hot water kettle.
5. Hotel food is below average.
6. Lots of bugs use the house for shelter during heavy rain, since the doors are not sealed there is no way to prevent them from coming inside.

This place was a perfect place to start our family vacation. We had a bungalow on the top of the property (#12) which was solid glass - each room including the shower. Woke up to a monkey, hummingbirds, and birds galore. Breathtakingly beautiful view of the whole valley. Beds were the most comfortable of our entire trip, breakfast staff was extremely kind and friendly. She was the only person we really knew talked to in this very private and hidden gem. I don’t know if I would consider with out a ca. we did walk down to the waterfall and a hike up the property but it is not close to town. (Pool was cold but clean). I would love to see some of the other areas updated.

All for of us liked the hotel. Beautiful view from the swimming pool. Friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and original, with lots of wood. It is a large property with a few cabins here and there in addition to the main lodge that has more typical rooms. There is a 2 hour hike from the property to the lake

Nice and quiet hotel. If you have a car is ok, but if you have to walk is a little far from the downtown. Breakfast is good, it has a good parking place, a small piscine. We had a good time and slept like a babies because there is no noise… bed are comfortable

Unfortunately, we had unseasonably bad rain--like rainy season level rain--so we didn't get to enjoy the views as much. We loved this lodge though! The villa was perfect. There was plenty of space. The screened back porch was a delightful place to enjoy a sunrise. I wish I had more time there--and better weather. **Pro tips** 1. Bring ear plugs. The rain really comes down, and there are lots of active night animals. I would not have slept without them. 2. Bring your own coffee if you need it before breakfast opens. The kitchen is stocked with supplies, but not consumables. 3. Watch out for snakes at night. I despise them, and of course there was one sitting on the road!

Je craignais de séjourner dans ce lodge au vue des avis négatifs sur le site. Quelle heureuse surprise! Ce lodge, bien que situé dans les nuages, est très confortable. Il est éloigné de La Fortuna, et donc calme. Une petite kitchenette permet de faire réchauffer un plat si besoin et une cafetière permet de se faire un cafe en attendant l’ouverture du resto. Le personnel à l’accueil est charmant et de très bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et nous avons le choix entre 3 types de petits dej. Je recommande vivement ce lodge, le meilleur que nous ayons eu au Costa Rica. Il
