This place is awesome! Great view from balcony! The breakfast, hot tub, …, everything is amazing! Definitely would stay here again for next trip to la Fortuna!!

Lugar bonito pero chocaron mi auto estacionado y nadie se hizo responsable no me dieron un trato de rapidez, solo al otro día sin apuros aparecieron, el hotel no es lugar seguro para dejar vehículos y no se responsabilizan por lo que puede ocurrir, entran personas sin identificar sin problemas, nula seguridad.

Ga er niet heen als je contact wil houden met familie thuis of zakelijk, want de wi-fi is erg slecht en valt elke dag enkele uren uit. Belangrijk, want bellen en data in Costa Rica zijn erg hoog. Toen ik bij de balie klaagde hierover, loog de persoon dat de wi-fi alleen voor het restaurant gold. Ik moest haar wijzen dat er op hun eigen site dat er stond: 'faciliteit op de kamer: wi-fi'. Toen bond ze in. Ik heb een mail gestuurd dat ik een vergoeding van het gemis van de wi-fi wilde, maar ze antwoordden niet eens. Let op: kleding wassen is erg duur: een paar sokken: 2 dollar, een t-shirt 3 dollar. In mijn volgende hotel kostte het 1 dollar per kilo (ongeveer 15 X zo goedkoop), in een ander hotel was het zelfs gratis. Omdat het zo duur was, maakte ik een deal dat het niet 70 dollar kostte, maar 30 dollar, maar de dag erna waren ze het vergeten en de manager was 'onbereikbaar'!! Erg onbetrouwbaar. Volkomen lak aan gasten.

We stayed here for 5 nights during our honeymoon and had a fantastic stay. Our room was so peaceful and we had a wonderful view of the volcano. They had left us some gorgeous chocolate covered strawberries for our honeymoon when we arrived! The pool area was great, staff all super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with so much wildlife around.

This hotel was unlike any hotel I have stayed in the past. There are so many positives. Nothing is all good. I was allowed to check in early which was wonderful. Staff was welcoming on arrival. I booked through **********. I was asked about my welcome drink and massage discount. I don't know if this was a mistake on the booking website. Never had this happen before. There isn't an elevator on the second floor. The rooms use traditional keys. The safe uses a key too. The room is spacious with a nice balcony. There is a refrigerator and a small coffee maker. The wifi in the room is spooky. It usually works on the balcony. There is a nice trail at the hotel. There is a nice pool and spa. The breakfast opens at 7 am. Some activities pick you up by 7. The breakfast has a lot of choices. There is an omelette bar. For the most part, I didn't really like the breakfast. It's about a 10 minute walk to other stores or restaurants. It isn't far but there isn't a sidewalk. I didn't care for the food in the restaurant ( it's usually empty). Plan accordingly. The bed is comfortable. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. You wake up to chirping. It is serene. The housekeepers make animals out of your towels. I have only seen that on cruises. That was a plus. The front desk will help you with tours. I had a tour I booked cancel last minute. They called and got me set up for another tour. This hotel is really unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. I am glad I came. No place is perfect.

Nice quiet location, comfortable rooms with amazing rain shower. Good Breakfast buffet each morning. Oh and amazing views of Arenal.
