Amazing amazing amazing! I want to go back already! Hot springs were amazing, I love the option of having at least one of the hot springs open 24/7, they change it each night for cleaning purposes, they’re very strict on the towels, each one is literally accounted for otherwise there is a fee per towel, no big deal as long as you keep track, didn’t really need to carry a towel around anyway, the only downside I’d have to say was the Italian restaurant was much better then the buffet option, also the slides are pretty intense, I actually hurt my foot on one of them, but it didn’t stop the fun. Wish I were back there!

The hot spring garden in the tropical rain forest is beautiful and natural, which is very suitable for the whole family to go out and soak in hot springs♨️. From the hotel garden, the volcano is blocked, which is slightly insufficient because the various plants are too tall.

The hot spring is very comfortable and the environment is very beautiful. It is said to be a pure natural volcanic hot spring, divided into multiple pools. The hotel service is also good, a cup of wine and tea will be given to those who have just arrived, refreshing. But the flaw is that the bathroom drain in the hotel room may be blocked. The property is as lovely advertised. However, the unfriendly staff, ridiculous charging policy and bad food is what ruined it for us. We were charged $100/day in addition to our contracted rate because we had our daughter checked in with us under a 2p reservation. I am more than willing to pay the additonal fee because of my booking error, however, it did not come with a room upgrade or even a cot to accomdate the additional person in a single king bed room. Making matters even worse, our family got food poisoning after our first dinner there. This caused us to miss out on a prepaid tour the next day. When we reported this to the front desk, their reaction was less than empathetic or bother to ask our names or what room we were in. I cannot recommend this property based on customer service. There are lots of nice properties in the area which i am sure would have provided us a nicer experience.

My recent stay at Baldi Hot Springs Hotel and Spa in La Fortuna provided a mix of positives and negatives, ultimately leaving me with a mixed impression.
On the positive side, the hot springs themselves were very nice, clean, and conveniently located. They provided a relaxing retreat and were a highlight of the stay.
However, the experience was marred by several issues. The front desk staff were not attentive, leading to a lengthy check-in process and a lack of responsiveness throughout my stay. While the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, the lunch buffet was only average in quality.
Furthermore, I encountered issues with the hotel's policies regarding pool towels. Despite being provided with towels upon check-in, one was stolen while I was using the hot springs. When I approached the staff for assistance, they were unhelpful and failed to address the situation satisfactorily. To exacerbate matters, upon checking out, I was charged for the stolen towel, which felt unjust given the circumstances.
Although I enjoyed the attractions of La Fortuna, including its natural beauty, I do not plan to stay at Baldi Hot Springs Hotel and Spa again in the future. The lack of attentive service, coupled with policy enforcement issues, detracted significantly from what could have been a more enjoyable experience.

2 of us got a day pass. We did pay for the added dinner at the buffet. The water park is fantastic. All the pools were amazing. I do not recommend the dinner buffet faced up your money. If you're hungry just get something at the restaurant in the lobby. We should have known when we checked in and the man at the front desk, that we bought the tickets from, ask us if we wanted to go check the buffet out before we paid for it. Long water slide was fun, highly recommend.

In Arenal, there are over a dozen hot springs to choose from, but Baldi did not require a reservation! With it being rainy season during our visit, I didn't want to commit to a specific day. Staff was friendly all around from the parking attendant, to the front desk, to the towel guy. The expansive and beautiful grounds includes 25 pools total, all with different ambiences and temperatures. There are waterslides as well, fun but they're really fast and a bit dangerous! I even got airborne on the fastest slide! $47 entry fee for the entire day, worth every penny! Unfortunately the alcoholic drinks were rather expensive, but you could easily sneak in your own booze...rum and coke bottle? :)
