Nayara Springs - Adults Only

We celebrated our 25th anniversary here. This was perfect place. All luxurious amenities our own personal hot springs pool surrounded by rainforest. Staff was courteous, food was exuberant. We had romantic dinner on the anniversary night served by personal chef and personal server. Very special. The pictures speak for themselves. Room service twice a day. Made special bed decorations on anniversary night.

I wish I could give this a 10 versus the max of 5!!!! Nayara Springs was AWESOME. If the accommodations don’t wow you ( and of course they will) the staff from beginning to end will double wow you!!! Upon arriving, at reception, Marcela greeted us and explained the amenities and restaurants worked. Explained excursions worked , then she personally took us to the villa and showed us around the villa. Breakfast, room service and golf cart rides were speedy and pleasant. The complimentary laundry service was amazing and timely. Accommodations were excellent, clean and beautifully appropriated. Private hot tub/ pool which was filled with water from volcano was awesome Turn down service was amazing with organza covering over the four poster bed. The nite treats delivered were a nice touch. I really felt at home. When my husband told me we were going to be in the jungle for 5 nights and it was rainy season, I was a bit worried if the first half of our vacation was going to be ruined. Marcella explained how to book tours for morning so we can do them without train and explained not to book too much because refunds for rain weren’t easily given. We truly appreciated that tip. We ATV’d, toured the sloth park and enjoyed downtown 1 day. It was a hard choice to leave the hotel but we wanted to check out the city. The hotel was so comfortable and welcoming even after check in. Walter who waited on me at the quiet pool and served my husband drinks was very kind and fun. We did the Ultimate couples experience at the spa and Norma and Erica were amazing. The massage and facial were great ( especially since I didn’t have my facial prior to vacation). For our anniversary dinner, I wanted to provide a rose to my husband with a card. She printed a card for me to fill out. Although there were no roses at the Springs location, Marcella worked her magic to get a rose delivered at our dinner with the card. I so so appreciated this as it was the same day. She was incredible. I also had a chance to meet Arriana who taught the coffee class. She helped my husband remember the recipes and guided him yo the type of coffee to buy. She was so patient with helping him make the choices. Also, yoga each morning was great. Ed was perfect and taught at a pace for all levels. We were sad to leave and next time will stay longer. The space, details and extras were worth every penny.

Nayara Springs may be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. We were extremely well taken care of by the whole team there. In particular the reception/concierge staff provide an exceptional level of service. Marcella and her colleagues made sure we had everything we needed and were always available to help with any issues very quickly. Our bags were delayed for 2 days, which would normally be a big issue but at Nayara there was a decent, if expensive, gift shop to allow us to get a change of clothes on the night we arrived. They provide laundry for free, which was extremely useful in our situation. They also volunteered to help us deal with the airline to find out our bag status! The food at the restaurants is very high quality. We ate at most of them across our time there, other than the set menu one as we weren't confident it would be worth it with our allergies. Breakfast was included at any of the resort hotels but we ate at the italian one every day as it was so close to our room. The resort itself is bigger than I had expected based on photos. This was a bonus for us as it meant we could spent plenty of time wandering around their jungle spotting sloths and tropical birds inbetween pool trips. There are golf carts to bring you around which we never had to wait more than a few minutes for. The spa is also very high quality, easy to see why it wins awards. The resort is very close to La Fortuna, so any trip to the bridges/waterfall/other hikes, are only a short drive away.

Went here for our honeymoon. It was the by far the best resort I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! Our room was incredible and the service was lovely all week. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful and we got to see all sorts of nature and wildlife without even having to leave the resort. We also went on some amazing excursions that were all nearby!

Nayara Springs was an amazing resort! We couldn’t have picked a better place for our honeymoon. All of the staff were extremely nice, helpful, & thought of every small detail to make our stay as special and memorable as possible. We loved the espresso bar, spotting the sloths, all of the restaurants, & the great excursion options! We hope to be able to visit more Nayara resorts in the future!

Our stay here was absolutely amazing and surpassed all of our expectations. The staff were attentive and responsive - we were able to meet with one of the managers at one of the bars onsite which was such a great experience. While the golf carts were readily available, we walked everywhere - up to 6 miles a day just staying at the resort and it felt like it was all up hill - in a good way!! Breakfast left no wants unmet, though the cappuccino in our room was our favorite morning routine prior to the 6 am nature walks with Hanzel who truly loves his job and went above and beyond to show us your native creatures as well as give us lasting memories through our photos! If I had one criticism, it's that we would have welcomed more signs on the property because we did spend some time lost meandering through the beautiful property - but we saw it all....sloths, poisonous frogs, an armadillo, a toucan, green iguanas, other beautiful birds, and the somewhat scary curasows. Another highlight was the size and beauty of the bungalow with the private plunge pool - absolutely breath- taking. We cannot wait to return! Pura Vida my friends!!

The pool in our room was wonderful and so relaxing. The staff was very very friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we are definitely coming back. The food and drinks and atmosphere was amazing and so relaxing

Our stay at Nayara Springs was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond expectations. Stunning property full of wild life, panoramic views, and villas that are second to none in quality and privacy. This was our first stay at Nayara Springs, but it will not be our last!

We stayed at Nayara Springs for a week for our 10th Anniversary. The staff was so incredibly amazing, nice, and helpful. Our coordinator, Mariangel, went above and beyond to make our stay at this resort one that we will remember forever. I cannot say enough great things about everyone we encountered during our stay, they all put in so much effort to care for their guests and it shows. We've never experienced anything close to the level of hospitality the employees at Nayara displayed at any resort or hotel we've stayed at in the US. Truly an amazing place staffed with the best people you'll ever meet. We stayed in villa 32, which had an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano from the back patio. The villa was incredibly comfortable, and the furnishings were all top-notch. We tried almost every restaurant on the property, and they were all simply amazing. The food is all fresh and was prepared to perfection. We especially enjoyed breakfast in the mornings from Mis Amores. The Avocado Toast was to die for and was a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend doing a night at Besame Mucho if you go. The experience of having a private chef and server in a quiet, romantic rainforest setting was fantastic. It was well worth the cost of the dinner. The turndown service in our villa was something else. Almost every night we had something special waiting on us when we returned from dinner; from complimentary bottles of champagne and wine, to chocolate covered strawberries, to personalized cards, and even a complimentary experience of our choosing (we chose to do the Wine Flight experience), they really went above and beyond and it made our stay so amazing. We enjoyed an amazing spa treatment on one of our days. The staff at the spa were among the best we've ever experienced. During our treatment, some guests in the gardens started playing music really loudly which interrupted the quiet sounds of the rainforest. Nothing that the spa could control, but without us even saying anything they gave us a generous discount on the service as an apology for the music, which again wasn't even something that they could control. We also enjoyed two excursions coordinated through the resort. One was a trip to the hanging bridges and the other was a lava walk hike. Both of these excursions were amazing and fun. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and personable and made the experiences so much better than if we had tried to just go on our own. Definitely take advantage of these options if you stay and want to get out and adventure. The property is built on the side of a mountain, essentially. So, there is a steep grade to most of the property. Luckily, they do offer complimentary golf cart service that will pick you up wherever you are on the property and take you wherever you want to go. We opted to walk most of the time we were there, but for anyone who can't get around as easily, having the option to have a cart to help you get around is nice. We saw a
