This is the best place in La Fortuna, wonderful hotel, location, rooms, staff.
Just an incredible garden-forest near the river, with many animals, birds and plants.
Highly recommended.

All facilities in hotel were good. Staff from reception being helpful in every respect to maid service being really good.
One suggestion would be to install a grab bar in shower area for safety
Free breakfast was ok but dinner at night was excellent.

A great place to stay. A big plus is the little river right beside the restaurant and sitting areas. The river was scenic and relaxing to listen to and provided wildlife sightings. Tiger herons, toucans, parrots, big King Fishers, two otters and several huge green iguanas, a mother sloth and her baby were all on the beautiful grounds of this hotel.
The restaurant at the hotel is right beside the river; a wonderful place to eat. Besides the good breakfast which was included; the restaurant was also open for lunch and dinner. It was closed on Tuesday for lunch and dinner when we were there but I am not sure if this is a regular closure. We appreciated having the restaurant on site when it was pouring rain as we did not have a car. Even though there were several restaurants close by we did not want to get wet. The staff in the restaurant was wonderful; they were always looking for wildlife to show you. Location is great, close to everything. The easy hop shuttle stops right in front of the hotel.
We had a junior suite with 1 king bed and while our room had a great view of the volcano it did not have an outdoor sitting area like most other rooms. The sitting area was inside and even though there were huge sliding doors to open I prefer to actually sit outside. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and it is amazing just to see all the vegetation. We loved our stay here!

Das Personal war immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Außerdem waren sie sehr hilfsbereit und haben mir ein paar Male (Briefmarken besorgen) ohne zu zögern unterstützt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Man muss nur einmal um die Ecke... dann ist man schon im Zentrum.
