We stayed at Arrowwood Resort March 30 & March 31; we were meeting family for their Easter Brunch. ROOMS: We paid $25 per room for early check in and checked in 12:30p on Saturday (total room cost $540). We had connecting rooms (408-410); the rooms were spacious, there was plenty of room and we could have fit all 6 in our party (4 adults & 2 small children) in one room (room capacity stated 4). FRONT DESK: We called the resort prior to our stay with questions and received a few different responses. Our main concern was if we could bring life jackets into the waterpark, online states no flotation devices. You are able to & they provide them as well. The front desk staff was nice. We encountered a manager upon check in, she was personable. We had teenager upon checkout, she was also helpful and granted us late checkout. After checkout, we were in the lobby waiting for others in our group to arrive for brunch (19 total) the employees seemed annoyed by us standing there. She quickly & hastily told us lunch was by the banquet rooms, we noticed a friend standing at the desk. DINING: Saturday night we went to dinner. We attempted the bar, 5th floor, but the bartender advised us to go down stairs due to our party and how he would not be able to service us. He was nice and we understood and respected him for being honest. He was great! We ate at the Chophouse and had a party of 15 for dinner, we arrived around 7p, quickly seated and served water. They are clearly understaffed; but our service was great. The waitress was running around but was tentative. We finished up around 9pm. The Easter brunch was really good, we had 19 people and were well taken care of by the staff. WATERPARK: I feel the pool is extremely over chlorinated. I’m unsure how often they check levels, but if it’s like the service we received my assumption is not as often as they are suppose to. My 18 month old left with a slight rash Saturday, we had spent about 5 hrs at the pool. We went back to the room and showered/lotioned. There rash was better Sunday morning, we went back to the pool for about 1.5 hrs and when we left the rash was almost hives, the 5 year old also complained about being ‘itchy’. When we arrived Sunday morning right at 9am (opening time) all the chairs were stacked but the floors were clearly never swept & there were multiple empty pitchers in the garbage cans. We commented on this, but again it didn’t surprise us due to the waterpark service received. The waterpark does need work but we did spent a lot of time in it so the work needed didn’t deter us from enjoying our time. You will notice worn and rusty areas; unsure if it’s from salt, over chlorination, or iron. As for the waterpark staff, the lifeguards were great! The concession was understaffed and the check in desk was less than desirable and enthusiastic. You could walk right in without a wrist band and they would never have noticed. I’m unsure if they would even notice you walk in as they are on
