The River Valley Motor Inn in La Grange, Texas, is a safe and quiet stay. The location has easy parking and shopping and dining options nearby. I recommend the River Valley cafe for breakfast! The staff was also super friendly and helpful. I'd love to give it five stars, but the sink and bathroom weren't as clean as they could've been. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Overall, the hotel was a nice place to stay if you’re just looking to pass through and spend the night where you’ll have a reasonably clean room with decent amenities like mini refrigerator, microwave TV, etc. We were, however, disappointed that no ice machines on the property were functioning, which made it Difficult if we wanted to have a drink or something like that in our room. Washing machines we’re not functioning as well if you’re gonna be there long enough to do laundry.

Lovely Clean modern rooms. Spacious and fresh. Plenty of room to move around with lovely grounds. There is nowhere to eat but breakfast can be provided. Staff very helpful and friendly to deal with. Family rooms are great as well with plenty of beds

Stayed 4 days. Never changed linens. Musty smelling room. Bath stopper did not work. Called and they brought a rubber stopper. Bath tub had rust around the drain. Pillows stunk. Floor was dirty.

No wifi , ice mahines broken, sheets had blood on them tv was not 40 inches and you couldn't use the remote to control it and the ac did not cool.

There was a random 6ft board/plank leaning against a wall In my room….
Hair on the toilet seat….
Dust bunnys on the pillows…
Back mold in the shower…..
And the water smells like rotten eggs
