For the first time we decided to go to the coast of the Bay of Biscay and visit the city of La Rochelle. We were surprised by the friendliness of the staff! Specialists from the reception told everything about the city, suggested how to get to Fort Boyard, booked a table in a restaurant! The hotel itself is very beautiful! Rooms are clean, very nice mini bar!

Excellent! The service is sensationally good. The rooms are clean, big enough with a small kitchen and fridge. The pool is well maintained and there is a pool bar. On the hottest day in Europe, this hotel came to our rescue. We had a problem with the car, the staff was super nice and helped us bring our car to the underground car park. The bar is well stocked and professional information is provided with the drink.
We used the wellness area with sauna, steam room and massage. Overall there were only positive experiences. The staff is each individually multilingual. Great! We'd love to come back.

Pas digne d un 5 étoiles : accueil restauration glacial , propreté limite ( toilette ! Tasse de cafe ! ) , forfait non respecte ( boissons et cafe ) , taxi réserve mais absent au rendez vous … Dommage car le lieu est magique et l emplacement idéal dans la Rochelle

Een aantal nachten verbleven in dit hotel. Locatie is super, in de stad maar niet in de drukte. Dichtbij alles eigenlijk. Dus een goede basis om La Rochelle te ontdekken. Personeel erg aardig. Parkeren onder het hotel is erg handig en zeker aan te raden (met valet parking). Na aankomst glas champagne op het terras terwijl bagage naar de kamer gebracht wordt. De fibe van het hotel met de inrichting en aankleding is goed. Kamers zijn mooi en goed geregeld, wij kregen zelfs een upgrade naar een grotere kamer. Ontbijt niet gedaan, leek wat duur. In de omgeving zijn genoeg bakkertjes/cafe’s voor een ontbijt. Het hotel geeft aan 5 sterren te hebben, maar ik denk dat het eerder 4(+) sterren is.

J’ai passé un merveilleux séjour au sein de l’hôtel des ambassadeurs. Une décoration très moderne et raffinée, nous avions été magnifiquement accueillis, les personnels sont d’un professionnalisme agréable et respire la bienveillance. Je mets une grosse note surtout pour l’espace bien-être qui est un véritable havre de paix. Les chambres Deluxe sont d’une propreté incroyable, j’ai eu un sommeil qualitatif grâce à la vue merveilleuse et l’hygiène irréprochable. J’y reviendrai !

I love this hotel. The property is great. The communal bar area is a lovely place to hang out. The rooms are lovely and clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptional. Possibly my favourite hotel to stay at in all of France. Sadly I don't spend enough time, just a quick visit for work...next time I will spend longer just to enjoy the amazing bar and lounge.
