Magnifique hôtel, dans un cadre magnifique PDJ au top Je recommande l'hôtel AKOYA pour une famille, un couple etc..

Having come a few years ago, we returned with friends for one night. The welcome was miserably deplorable following our request to change rooms, the garden view room having a four-poster bed, inappropriate given Mr.'s height. We asked for a lagoon view room (the hotel was not at all full), and this room had a "normal" bed. Request accepted with a supplement paid immediately. The room, we were told, would be ready in 15 minutes, the time to transfer the baby bed and pool towels. We waited with our little girl in the hall. After half an hour, we asked what was going on. No answer. After an hour, another person dressed in beige informed us that this time there was a problem in the shower. Patience having been broken after an hour and a half, we asked more insistently what was really going on. The same lady is evasive and takes refuge in the back, phone to her ear. A man dressed in white gets involved and teaches us the basics of the French language. Bravo 👏 but NEXT. Being ignored and becoming the center because we are ranting, NEXT. Besides, we are in Reunion, Creole is our mother tongue, if that does not suit the ZOREIL staff, maybe we should hire more locals 🎉. Oddly enough, the lady behind comes back and tells us that the room is ready 🎉. She accompanies us to the room immediately, opens the door and leaves at full speed, without a word. Pitiful. The only reason we stayed in front of this reception is the presence of our friends who came from Metropolitan France. In addition to this episode, we note that the hotel is under construction but at no time on the site is there any reference to it. But helloooo!! The bar next to the pool is closed, as well as the entire area linked to the bar of course. The pool terrace is also under construction and therefore partly closed. This could and should have been indicated on the hotel website when booking, it is a minimum for a hotel classified so far as 5 stars. Disappointed by the establishment and this most negligent welcome.

Nous avons passé une semaine en couple dans cet hôtel spa où le personnel de l’accueil, serveurs, femmes de ménages…tout le monde était à nos petits soins, chaque demande étant traitée avec rapidité et sérieux ! Chambre spacieuse fraîchement rénovée et propre avec vue sur le lagon ! Petit déjeuner : divers et varié, dîner : très bonne cuisine avec une suggestion par jour en plus de la carte (un peu limitée) mais produits frais et bien travaillés avec une bonne partie venant de leur ferme ! Petit bémol, terrasse de la piscine qui a du potentiel mais en travaux donc pas de transat, on reviendra pour en profiter 😉 Nous recommandons cet hôtel qui est très bien situé !

Les 4 et 5 octobre : Congrès professionnel sur 2 jours : une réussite ! Malgré les travaux d’aménagement en cours . Personnel à l’écoute, bienveillant, aimable et professionnel . Cuisine : repas de midi , pauses matin et après-midi ainsi que le cocktail de fin de congrès un délice !

Une journée détente qui ne nous a absolument pas détendu… Piscine glacée alors qu’on m’a assuré une piscine chauffée au téléphone, même les enfants n’arrivaient pas à s’y baigner. On avait demandé une petite attention pour un anniversaire, on n’a rien eu et ma réservation était passée aux oubliettes… Bref, une belle publicité mensongère cet hôtel, plus jamais !

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans cet hotel. Le cadre est agréable et les équipes sont très attentionnées. Nous avons apprécié nos échanges avec Nikita, Sébastien et l'ensemble de l'équipe du restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment à recommander.
