The Hotel is well furnished and the staff are well trained. In all my interactions with the staff I have found them to be professional and courteous. As I am in a quarantine room the meals are provided in a plastic box and arrive fairly cold, however I understand that it is logistically impossible to provide steaming hot food to each room. The food is quite tasty inspite of the temperature. Amenities are ver good.

The shooting position is the area where clothes hang in the suitcase (see Figure 1). Figure 5: There is no covering in the bathroom, and the water will spill out of the area when taking a bath. Toiletries provide body soap and shampoo. Water cups are provided but no toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. The water heater is of the instant-on and instant-heat type, and the switch must be turned on on the left side of the full-length mirror when in use. Please adjust the water temperature from low to high to avoid getting hot. Another: slippers are not provided in the room, please bring your own.

Check in is perfunctory, quite disinterested and doesn't have the welcoming experience. Rooms are showing some age, still somewhat clean. Mattress not as firm for a good night's sleep. To get the laundry list and bag seemed a real chore. It was not replenished when the room was cleaned when it should. Even after requesting in person at reception, had to call them again. Breakfast buffet is below par, basic Asian and some cereals. Their is no egss station. Once served poached eggs were practically uncooked, and the replacement took over half an hour. Under staffing. I must give credit to the three waitresses working non stop, clearing and cleaning the tables in between serving the

Overall, the service is good. It could be great if a simple smile is added to the front desk.
Secondly, I understood the hotel policy for check out time is at 1200 hours. But, it would be much appreciated by guest if the hotel could allow/extend the check out time to 3pm, provided the room not fully booked especially during the mid week days where it's at low density booking and the guest taking flight at about 6pm. Simple curtesy will make a lot of difference.

Had request an OKU room, i think it is the only OKU room from the hotel, need to inform hotel earlier.
It would be great if hotel can improve or increase more OKU room, had been there for few times and this is the only time i request the OKU room successfully.
If the toilet for OKU, would be suggest to make it spacious because the carer (in my case, is 2 carers) need to move the OKU from point A to point B.
However, hotel service and location is good and definitely will be there again.

Stayed on 23rd Dec 2022 with family. Stopping by before heading to KK. From the outside the building shows it’s age. Once inside however, the lobby is nicely decorated for Christmas. The room at first glance looks decent however there are noticeable dusts. Upon waking up next morning me and my family members were constantly sneezing and it triggered my allergy (not an ideal way to start your vacation!). The allergy continues for days even after we reached KK (very inconvenient I must say). Pros (+) - The staff are friendly and hotel are well decorated - Has good view if you’re on the top floors. Cons (-) - Poor cleanliness (warning) dusts are everywhere and it triggered my allergy. - Food from restaurant is bland, salty & expensive (room service). - Poor & lackluster menus on breakfast buffet (again it’s also salty & expensive). - Poor maintenance, pool are closed and the amenities shows it’s age. Conclusion : Supposedly the best hotel in Lawas however I am unconvinced based on my experience there. For the price more should be expected in this hotel.Personally I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone unless it’s a desperate time (which is what happened during the time I stayed here, all other hotels are fully booked).

FfrankcycThis is my first stay at AZ Hotel. I used to stay at Labuan Point Hotel near the Labuan mosque. The wife n me comes to Labuan often to golf at Labuan International Golf Club n the very challenging 9 hole Labuan Golf Club. This hotel impressed me immediately. The bed was king size n the decor was minimalist n comfortable. Wifi in the room is very good. Its cheaper than the Labuan point hotel. There is ample facilities such as a mini bar,a safe,a TV n a good view out of the window. There are good restaurants at the lobby floor n good perfume shop as well. Night entertainment spots n lounges is just par 4 n par 5 away.There is a super market just across the road from the hotel in case u needed snacks or toothpaste etc. On the whole very impressive at a good price.i would have stated 5 stars but for a burnt out lamp at the dressing table!!! Highly recommended hotel for a comfortable stay in Labuan. Frank C

BBradWCWStayed in Deluxe Queen Room Comfortable bed, clean room. A hairdryer is available but not strong enough. The only downside is you will not be able to sleep early here due to the singing from outside nearby pubs, bars, karaoke places until 2:30 am. Especially noisy on Friday nights. Saturday night was ok, noise level only until 1:30 am. If you are a family with kids, this is not a recommended place. Since I am a solo traveller and I don't sleep that early, so this hotel fit my budget and my condition for a good stay.

Bathroom ceiling is bulging & bathroom wall marble is fungus. The TV desk, make up desk, & mini bar desk have a lot of mark especially from cigarette mark. The entrance mirror have a lot of marking, window glass have mark. They are no lift available in this building, then you’ve to climb to up stairs until 4th floor. Have LCD flat TV, old kettle, have coffee amenities complimentary, have bathroom One of the cheap hotel in Labuan. The room is cozy, but have a lot of hair on the floor. Have stained at the duvet cover, & only have 4 types of tv channels. The tv channels is limited choice. The bathroom Floor is very slippery during wet. Very strategic location, near to MarryBrown Restaurant, near to ferry terminal, near to ATM machine.

AAilyThis is the second time I came here to stay, and I was given the same room. I was disappointed that the bathroom door in the room was broken and still not changed. If you push hard, the whole door will fall off🤦♀️ and the water hose next to the toilet wall fell off last time Yes, I still haven’t changed it this time, I’m a little disappointed, but the location of the hotel is very good, there are many gourmet restaurants nearby, and there are also many snack bars, so eating won’t make you a headache😊
