The breakfast was good, among the pastries for breakfast their doughnut is the best. The Deluxe and the King/queen room is beautiful and worth the stay. I really enjoyed my stay here, the environment is also very serene and I will definitely be booking another stay here shortly.

The 4 night stay in Ivy Emerald was a wonderful and breath taking experience. The environment is very clean and beautiful. The rooms are well decorated with fully functional facilities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as they are always willing to assist. The only area that requires improvement is the breakfast as it has limited options and the buffet does run out quickly. It was a good stay overall and well recommended.

The following are the real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. I stayed in Room 204 that day. Hotel location: Lagos has convenient transportation. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: It can be regarded as dry and wet separation. Breakfast: Look at the pictures for yourself. Hotel service staff: I personally feel that they are very service-minded and quite careless during their stay. The hotel pictures match the actual room pictures.

Most regrettable, useless hall to use with unprofessional Staff to compliment it all. Today marks exactly 1month I used their lacasera hall for my wedding, Ben Auto Event Centre made me exceed my budget for a hall, what I bargained with the owner was 150k but was later asked to pay extra 30k, 10k for government fee, 10k refundable damage fee (what the hell?)10k for external cleaners (who does this when you also run a hotel and have staff, even if you don't run hotel are these fee not supposed to be factored with the price of hall?) Very unprofessional. I paid the 150k because this was what I bargained with the owner from the unset only to be told about the extra fee when I came to see the hall and make payments and I told the unprofessional manager by the name Goodness that I would pay the 30k on the d day. On the day of my wedding this manager kept calling me when Church service was on going and after the church service my life band called to tell me my hall was locked and access not granted to guests and they were even told that no wedding like Adadudu2021 was on going in their premises because of 30k. My husband called her back and asked she allow the guests in and wait for him to get to the hall to make payment because he has been trying to make transfer to no avail. On this faithfulSaturdayZenith transfer wasn'tgoing through. My hall was finally opened by 4pm but they refused to switch on the Ac. I came into the premises to see my guests down stairs recieving fresh air as the hall was very hot. The Ac was later switched on by 5pm. We made payment and kicked off so late but by this time half of my guests had gone home and called me from home to narrate their ordeal on how the hall was shut down and how they had been told no wedding of such was taking place there. I felt so pained. This same shameless manager of theirs came with some staff to beg for food, drink and cake. And after the wedding in my very present, same Goodness the manager came with some staff to clean the hall they charged 10k for external cleaners. What hurt me more was when I related the same issue of what played out to the hall owner via WhatsApp message also demanding for my 10k refundable damage fee as nothing was damaged in the hall, he never replied back nor apologised for what played out, he rather transferred my 10k back immediately. I can never ever recommend this hall nor the hotel to anyone . I am an hotelier and this is an unprofessional way to handle situations like this. Ben Auto made a show of my wedding day because of 20k after paying 150k for hall. Very wicked souls. Disgusting place to use for a wedding

The reason why the general evaluation is given is because the cost performance is very low.
The hotel seems to have only 6 floors and the elevator only shows up to the 6th floor.
I booked a sea-view room at 1498RMB, and arrived at the shop in advance to arrange a higher floor at the front desk. Say we need to arrange the 5th floor, tell us to wait for 40 minutes, the room is being cleaned, and waited more than an hour, said that the room is full, can only be arranged on the 3rd floor. Looking out of the window, it is the scene in Figure 1. It is said that a good seascape is a bunch of pipes. The facilities in the room are also sorry for the five-star title, the moldy roof, the bathroom was rude, and there was no hair dryer. The lobby is okay, the pool is large and the green environment is ok. Probably the best environment in this city. However, it is open to the public, not for the private use of hotel customers. Seeing two foreigners paying 5,000 naira can enter the pool and share public facilities. There are dining points on the first and negative floors of the hotel. I ordered a salmon and steak (pictured) 30,000 naira (580rmb). The taste is acceptable, but the salmon is definitely not fresh. Ordered early, the last picture is breakfast. I usually book early with a regular trip, it's normal, and the price is not high. Those who like the environment can spend about 50rmb / person for a walk.

I enjoyed my stay here it was all in all a great stay.
However, for supposedly one of the best hotels in Lagos, there are no activities or restaurants on site.
There’s a nice little bar on the 5th floor but apart from that you’ll have to eat at the hotels buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet needs serious upgrade to pay $25 dollars there is a lack of choice.
The coffee shop at the lobby sucks because there’s no barista or at-least some that knows how to make good coffee instead any staff that’s available on I’ll make your coffee when you order.
Apart from that the hotel is very clean for Lagos hotel standards.

The hotel is clean. When I came to view the place , I was shown a nice big room as the standard room. On checking in , I was put in a small room . First my tv wasn’t functioning . My room was changed . The other room had water dripping on the floor from the AC. The soap dispenser wasn’t dispensing . I wasn’t able to have a bath the first night cos of this . The restaurant tried to exploit . We ordered spaghetti bolognese. We got a plate of cold soggy spaghetti with spares minced meat for ridiculous bill! I asked for orisirisi snails and was given snails barely bigger than periwinkles also at a ridiculous price . Terrible service . I won’t be returning here .

This is my first stay at the Wheatbaker, and I can now understand why my friends stay here when in town. Although the hotel is on the small side and is a little dated, the service was exceptional. Every single member of staff from the guards to management displayed warmth, care and courtesy, the likes of which I have not experienced in any hotel I have stayed in Nigeria. What makes it even more remarkable is that it seems really genuine and not forced and I could imagine a long term stay here. The food and cocktails were also great. Wish the pool was more private though, and parking more ample, but net net, it gets 5 stars from me!

Perfect
PPragmatic personMy experience at the hotel was great! The food was good….healthy and tasty. The service was satisfactory from each and every service personnel and staff. When I make a complain, they attend to it immediately and see that the problem is solved. The facility looks new external and internally. My time at the hotel was well spent and I had a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable and clean.
I look forward to booking this hotel again.
Thank you, Trip.com.
GGuest UserFacilities: relatively simple, but basically there, and relatively new. There is coffee downstairs, Chinese and Western food upstairs, as well as sports and massage!
Hygiene: relatively clean and hygienic
Environment: There are many people and the location is pretty good. You can see many black people taking photos in the lobby every day, and you can also see many stewardesses and stewardesses waiting for pilots.
Service: OK, not 100 points, but 80-90 points
LLondonDandyDTook awhile to get checked in. The Porter took us up to a room that sank of cigarette smoke and ****. They had sprayed profuse amounts of air freshener in an attempt to mask the smell. It didn't work and both smells would either make you nauseous or give one a headache. I asked for another room...i wasn't happy when there wasn't one in my range available (admittedly it was vals weekend) as they tried to arm twist me to paying for an upgrade. I refused and asked for a refund. The pleasant manager calmed me down and asked me to hold on. I went to have a pleasant meal in their restaurant. Luckily they made up another room for us. It didn't smell as bad. But in a rush...they forgot our bottled water and extra towel. Twas a nuisance. Later we went to the pool for drinks...i was dissapointed with the cocktails and a horrible fried ice cream cake. Lastly next to us were a bunch of poorly unkempt boys...one was smoking a joint...explains lot of public places smelt of ****...it was a case of either I wasn't meant to stay here or those guys shouldn't be there smoking ****..the hotel TV system is a bit of a pain to operate...and fabric seats in the room was not good...you could see stains not unlike semen...very off putting....but the rooms were a really good size, Good acs and decent price for Victoria island.....i would stay there again...hopefully they would have stopped people from smoking **** there..
MmcpoThe following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. I checked into room 202 that day. Hotel location: Lagos is easily accessible. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: Dry and wet are separated. Breakfast: See the picture for yourself, it is not a buffet. Yam is a staple food in Nigeria. It is impossible to eat more than one piece even if you come from far away. The room I booked is for 2 breakfasts, so the restaurant waiters are not trained, so I don’t plan to extend my stay. Hotel front desk staff: I personally feel that they are very service-minded and quite careless during their stay. The hotel pictures match the actual room pictures.
I spent 7 nights at Protea Hotel Ikeja Select. It was a trip I had made with my wife - who made made the pick of this hotel & done the booking. Anie (the Hotel Manager) attended to us at the reception. She went above & beyond to receive is and make us feel welcome. This lady maintained superb consistency in terms of customer service through out our stay. She deserves to work in the best hotels in the world - She is ”a natural” with guests. The room was okay - Room 138. There was an issue with the hotel floor and water leaked on the floor when we flushed. Beyond that the hotel staff were there to attend to our every need. I liked the proximity to Shoprite. I will definitely be returning and would love to stay in this hotel again. It gave me value for my money. Kudos to Anie, Veronica & Felicia as well as the gentleman who fries our eggs and all the guys at the reception.
GGuest UserSpacious rooms and quite clean. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Dirty water in the swimming pool. At the reception they are a bit too slow and a bit too shy, but always trying to satisfy any requests. Food in the restaurant is always the same and not particularly impressive. The most of the time they take very long time to deliver in the room, or just need a very long time to take your order. Actually if they are busy doing some paper works, they ignoring you util you don't request attention. Definitely they need to improve their customer service. Pay attention to the dirty tables keep the terrace organised and be more efficient. We want to thank the new joiner for his different service Mr. Omo, you are the best
GGuest UserI was visiting Lagos on a business trip. Wanted something quiet and a little out of the way, yet with close proximity to Ikoyi and VI. I was recommended this hotel and found it very good and suited to all my needs. Highly recommend the staff for their friendliness and attention to my every request. The rooms are clean and spacious. And extremely convenient location. So give them 5 star !
Ssossa f”I had an incredible stay at the Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi in early June! The staff were truly exceptional - friendly, helpful, respectful, and down-to-earth. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, with fluffy pillows and a bed that was a joy to sleep in. The internet and power supply were reliable, making it a great stay for both relaxation and work. The overall experience was top-notch, and I would highly recommend the Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Lagos. 5 stars and well done to the team!”
Sstjude2019For a hotel at this price range, you should expect something better. The front desk was very unwelcoming, no smile, not at all helpful. The room although big, but empty, just the bed and a table and chair in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and the towels (but never complete) was always changed on a daily basis and the room made even though I had the sign do not disturb on! They has complimentary drinks in the fridge which included beer and soft drinks all free. Breakfast was your usual typical Nigerian food nothing to write about. The dinning room was way at the back of the hotel, if it rains you will have problems accessing it. The table cloth were all old and cheap quality for this standard, very disappointing. Had a room facing the lagoon, nice view. Overall I score this hotel average.
KKandy SolomonNew bedding is heavenly. Shower is great pressure and room for two room has safe, mini fridge with complimentary water, kettle with tea/coffee. Atm in lobby will take USA visa debit for local naira, dispense 10,000 at a time. Room was a bit tight. Wish we had stayed here instead of the apartment their bed was like a board. Staff very respectful and professional. POS didn't take credit card, nor atm, even though shoprite did.
Can't wait to stay there again, next time in lagos.
