I had trouble checking in when I arrived at this apartment hotel because there was no reception. Please note that you will not be able to check in unless you confirm the contact information in advance and prepare a communication environment that allows you to make calls and send messages. It seems that the staff is stationed there, but it is unclear where they are. Maybe in the attic. I stayed for several nights, but the room was never cleaned. Of course, there was no towel exchange. There is a kitchen, but there are no cooking utensils. There are no dishes. Although the room is large, the bathroom is small. Hot showers are hopeless, and showers with room temperature water can be tough in winter. Location is quite an issue. It is adjacent to the Cantonment Area, a housing area for military personnel, and foreigners are not allowed to enter this area. They are stopped at a checkpoint and turned away. Ride-hailing apps such as Uber basically show the shortest route, so they cannot give instructions to detour around this area. In other words, if you use Uber etc. to travel to the airport, the border, or tourist areas such as the Badshahi Mosque, the route will inevitably pass through the cantonment area, so you cannot travel. Therefore, you have to pay many times the price of Uber, negotiate with the rickshaw, and instruct them to take a detour. Similarly, when returning to the apartment hotel, you need to be careful about the route. There is a bazaar that is a 3 minute walk in the opposite direction from the area where foreigners are not allowed, so you can get bottled water there anyway. There is no water in the room, so you need to prepare it yourself.
