The room above us had small kids that ran around constantly until 1am. Also, the hotel charged a $23 dollar fee that was not explained or included when I made the reservation.

The location luckily makes up for the short comings of this hotel. It is very well located for shops, restaurants and a lovely park we spent a day at. The staff were not very welcoming and do not seem very happy. The pool was not well stocked with towels and not very clean at all. Our room was one with a kitchen in, the microwave was very old, but did work. Both TV’s were not great either, we did manage to get one working so we didn’t worry about speaking to anyone about the other one. The bathroom was very spacious, but the shower whole room looked very old and could have done with a deep clean. The shower curtain was also very old. It did the job for our trip, and I do feel that most places here are a little on the old side.

The entrance of the hotel was nice but as soon as we got to the fourth floor, it may a real bad. We went into our room 439. It had a stitch in there as well. I had to go to Walmart to purchase some air freshener just so I was able to stay in the room, then you had to wait two minutes in between before flushing the toilet I’ve never heard of that in my life. The bed needs to be changed out. The bed was swap sided plus the sockets in the room did not work that’s unacceptable. I will never come back to this hotel in my life you guys need to update immediately.

The checkin process took a while. There was only one person handling the front desk. At one point, someone else came to the front, saw the line and continued to do paperwork. Time could have been better spent assisting the guests that were lined up past the staircase.

A good overnight stay, friendly service. I didn't care for lack of eating options in the area in the morning.
