The Lake George Inn

Was excellent

We stayed here a little over a year ago and loved it, the office staff was kind and we had a great time.. fast forward to this year July, we booked the same two bedroom apartment we rented last time, we get here and the lady at the desk was sitting there talking to two other ladies on their phones, and then she finally took care of me, and she then said that I only said two people so I had to pay an extra $195 on top of the $200 I already spent prior to arriving, which is almost double what we spend last July, then we had time to go in the “heated” as they advertised, pool, and the kids jump in to super cold water in the end of July, absolutely nothing heated about it, lol, they only gave us two towels, my husband had to ask for more and they seemed agitated by him asking, they gave him 4. (We had six ppl so we obv have to use the pool towels to shower with as well) either way we are going to make the best out of it, everything is super outdated and not the cleanest, but we didn’t mind it that much last year as the rate was good, but now spending over $400 I feel like I should’ve went somewhere nicer. Very sad.

Pooh and I came to Lake George after Covid and flooding and stayed here Yes, it's a motel but it's great!! The owner who is actually on site, Dan, is attentive and he cares about the well-being of the people staying here. This motel is basic: a bed, microwave and fridge no coffee/tea maker in the room (it's available in the office after 8 am) but the comfort is 10/10. Dan was here all weekend so all questions were answered. He always had a smile and he was such a sweet guy always taking the time for the clients. The water pressure is perfect to boot and the rooms are clean and great cable channels in the TV. If you're looking for a clean comfy place to crash while exploring Lake George the Lake George Inn is the place Pooh and I would definitely come back

Nice place. Toilet flush very loud. Tv options poor- no regular channels. Short walk into town.

We had a wonderful time in lake George. The Inn was a great place to stay & reasonable for retired people. The staff & housekeepers was just wonderful. The pool & patio was nice. The beautiful flowers that outlined the decks to the outside chairs to relax in was great. Looking forward to another time to stay at the Lake George Inn.
