Beautiful location, very family friendly. Accommodation was impeccably clean and well presented. The wifi was not great, but this was a small price to pay for such a great stay.

Arrived around 7 PM , got confused with the lake hume resort unaware the discovery holiday park was close by
Perhaps a prominent large sign is needed as you approach Lake Hume ..
Lighting around Reception & boom gates at night could be vastly improved as well as in the discovery park itself otherwise it would have been hard to find our intended Cabin (11)
Cabin sliding door at cabin 11 was really hard to unlock & close ( esp when arriving at night )
accomodation itself was very good , clean & comfortable , heating was very good
metal dining tables were hard & cold to sit on
Lovely lake & hilly mountain views are a attraction & good appeal to the discovery park

We stayed two night at Lake Hume holidays Park for the first time with my relatives from America and Australia. We very disappointed, because the whole cabin is so smelly like the cockroach and mould. The price that we paid not value $395.00 for two night.

Apart from the stunning views over the water, the clean room, friendly service and great facilities I left my Oakley Sunglasses and Apple Airpods there - was found, kept safe and returned to me by post THANK YOU!

Stayed in their last available cabin. Was exceptionally clean, roomy living area, small double bed (but we were advised of this on booking) great well appointed clean kitchen. Bathroom small but functional. Was $250+ for one night, so a bit on the exxy side, but still, it is that time of year. Overall, very good!

Would not recommend staying here, on entry of our cabin we discovered that the water coming from the taps was brown in colour and the bathroom sliding door was not functioning as it was broken. After reporting the issues I was told the door would be looked at but never was. The water finally cleared up on the third day of our stay. The boom gate to the entry of the park was never working. My family and I were returning from a day out and noticed an elderly couple trying to gain access to their accommodation, it was dark and the lady and her vision impaired husband could not open the boom gate as it was not working. I rang the after hours emergency number which they didn't answer the first time, I rang again and finally they answered, he told me he was busy cooking his dinner and blamed the boom gate on `technology` this is extremely unprofessional and not good enough.

As soon as we arrived at this park the lady at reception was extremely rude to us because of a boat that was unknowingly parked where it shouldn’t be the day before we arrived and had nothing to do with us. She did not want to help us at all and told us that she hopes the group of people we were staying with (my family who are all grandparents, very quiet and easy going people) never come back again. I wanted to leave as soon as we got there because of the disgusting welcoming. Would not recommend this park to anyone.

We had ben told that our site was near the toilet block, we could not have been further away and the trip to the toilets ended up being by car as the paths were steep and uneven. This was not helpful as one of our party is mobility impaired. However, the view was beautiful and as we were on holiday we did not dwell on the negatives!

Booked online, only to receive a phone call hours later saying "we don't actually have any sites available, sorry about that." and then proceed to be told we "should" receive a refund in 3-5 business days. This is absolutely not good enough and is not the first time with Discovery Parks. Very unhappy and in no rush to return. Beware!

Great park as lthough very hilly. Has convention centre, great looking cabins, well maintained and large caravan sites with garden beds between each site m a king them very secluded. You do need a car or mobile transport to get around this park.

Will not be back to stay here again. Most expensive park we have ever stayed at. The park needs lots of work done to it, road and paths around the park are terrible with big pot holes in it everywhere, got to be very careful when going for a walk. We paid for a powdered lake side view site and was put on a site on a corner with trees around us with no view of the lake, not happy at paying top dollar at $85 a night for this site. Toilet facilities are okay could be cleaned better, they just do a quick in and out job.

This is a basic cp, The views on some sites are great. The biggest problem with this park are the sites. Some are very difficult to get into, most are dirt and some are quite uneven. They really need to do some work on the sites. Toilets are old but generally clean. Staff generally friendly. Buyer beware if you have a dog they want to charge you a $45 one off fee. Don’t know how a dog could cost $45. If this continues then this is our last visit to this park.

Met een campervan hier 3 nachten doorgebracht. T.o.v. de vele caravanparken die wij inmiddels bezocht hebben in Australië, komt het er op neer dat je voor het uitzicht op het meer $ 25,- per dag extra betaalt. Daarnaast kun je je afvoerwater niet kwijt, moet je enorme afstanden naar de toiletten afleggen hetgeen in het donker bijna niet te doen is. Wij gaan hier niet meer heen en zoeken wel een ander park en gaan overdag naar één van de vele picnicplekken met uitzicht op het meer.
