My family stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a dance competition. There were 6 of us, so I booked what was described as a family room with 2 bedrooms, a living area and bathroom. When we arrived, the staff was friendly. We got to the room to find a single room with one king and one queen. Definitely not large enough for my family of 6, nor what was described during booking. We had to book a second room, making this trip over $1,000 for 2 nights! The rates had been increased due to the strawberry festival, which should be considered price gouging and be illegal. In terms of accommodations, the beds were comfortable. The pillows were standard pancake pillows. The shower was impossible for an adult because the straight curtain rod caused the curtain to suction to you. It was the equivalent of wrestling an octopus. The towels were insanely small and very rough. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom either, so trying to get dressed in there after a steamy shower was difficult. The breakfast was extremely basic. No pancakes, waffles, english muffins, etc. They offered a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, blueberry muffin or stale toast. They had fruit cups, yogurt, hard granola bars, 3 types of cereal and oatmeal pouches. All in all, this is a pretty basic hotel. For the price that I paid, I expected so much more in all aspects. If I'm ever in the Lakeland area again, I definitely would avoid this location, just knowing that I could potentially get so much more from somewhere else.

The breakfast is average, and the chain operation is cost-effective, mainly because the price is relatively cheap, the bed is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast can be quite full. The bed is so comfortable

Afternoon/evening (4p) receptionist very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds & pillows were comfortable. Neighborhood is nice: waterfront homes close, and something you don't see by most hotels is people jogging and riding bikes on the sidewalks. The only negative is that breakfast starts at 7a on weekends (6a on week days) If you have an early flight or have to be at an athletic event by 715a, its a bummer. One thing that was overlooked when the place was refurbished is adding electric outlets. Bedside has only two plugs: one for lights and one for clock. If you and if significant other is also in room is charging/using cellphones and tablets

People are very good, chain of value-for-money hotels, often live, can be accepted, that is, temporary one night stay, considered clean, breakfast is simple but can be full, fruit and meat and juice are considered good. Near the company

Just came for the night to visit our son. A wonderful place to stay. Looking forward this will be the first place I look to book anywhere. Clean. rooms are very quite. There was a lot going on there so we expected noise. But slept well through the night. Lots of care taken for extras such as towels. Went down and asked for another blanket for at night for my wife so she wasn't cols. Gave me one sealed in a bag. Only complaint was the ice machine was on the third floor we were on the 1st. This is where the contental breakfast was so really didn't make sense that there was only one.
