We were disgusted with this property. I called the contact number and spoke with **** Recommended your company audits the properties you advertise. The place is used for all I can say is a staging area for call girls. Only a single door between rooms. We could hear everything body slap and pleasure moan. People coming all hours of the night 1. We booked an ensuite room. (Ensuite is a private bathroom down a hallway with a private access code). 2. Promoted as smoke free. Far from smoke free. Cannot even open a window to air this Room out. Room stinks of cigarette smoke from either room beside or bar below. ( Did not know it was at a pub). 3. The room had not been cleaned adequately. Food crumbs, kids lollies on floor, cockroaches. 4. Batteries flat in appliance remotes. This property is disgusting. Looks nothing like the images. (Good marketing). If we could find any accommodation elsewhere, we would. Very disappointing . We have stayed with your business before in honeysuckle. Presumed a similar standard. Look

The room was filthy, dirty and smelt. The bathroom had faeces on the toilet seat and floor. We could not stay and found another room elsewhere. The management was rude and arrogant and no help. This property is remotely managed. Phone contact only. I would not recommend The Mark Studios at all.

Booked for two nights as according to the ad it suited my needs. Rude and unhelpful staff, room lacked many of the facilities advertised - chair, table, toaster - had nothing other than a bed. The bathroom across the hall experience was interesting!

Booked this as it was close to the hospital and I was visiting a sick family member. Absolute disgrace of a place. No hot water upon arrival and after talking to someone else there hadn’t been hot water for 3 days. You can’t sleep from the noise from the pub - and once I was asleep I was woken at 3:30am by yelling in the corridor and a man banging on doors to get in. I didn’t feel safe at all. And to follow I stepped on a cockroach getting ready the next morning. Also was told by a local cab driver that it’s known to have ‘working girls’ frequent the place. I rang upon waking to say I wanted a refund because of all of the above and was told yes that’s fine, so I booked with another hotel. 5 days later and no refund I rang to talk to them again. Got another man on the phone who was SO RUDE and dismissive, telling me it didn’t qualify for a refund and poor him losing revenue, etc etc. I have finally got a 2 night refund after many text messages and phone calls. Avoid this place like the plague - cos it basically is.
