Moor View

Over many years I have been to a bucket load of B&B’s, Moor View tops the lot. I should be reluctant to share this review as it will put bookings up and we may not get a room if everyone’s booked ! The location is very quiet but close to beautiful locations. The rooms are stunning and I have never seen a room so clean down to the last detail. The gardens are beautiful. The hosts Andrew and Linda deserve every award offered to them. Such a lovely couple with nothing too much trouble. The breakfast room and table detail is perfect along with the freshly cooked breakfast. Yes we will be back again and again.

Beautiful Bed & Breakfast, set in stunning surroundings. From arriving to leaving, the hosts were welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Our room was spotless, comfy, and beautifully furnished. It had every amenity that you could have needed, and we had amazing views over the garden and Dales. Breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the gardens was also a treat, made fresh and to order each morning and also catering for dietary needs. Before we arrived we received information on places that you could visit and recommended eateries, all really useful. The care and attention to detail that both Andrew & Linda go to is above and beyond and makes the Moor View B&B stand out above others. We would definitely recommend and will ourselves revisit when walking in the area again.

The loveliest B and B with such a welcoming couple of owners. Moor view is comfortable, modern, has spacious rooms and is in such a beautiful setting. We stayed here for 2 nights whilst doing the 3 Peaks Challenge, and it was a great home from home to return to after a day of walking. Plenty of hot water for the shower and lovely big soft towels. Breakfast was a take out bag on our first morning as we left early, (lovely fresh croissant, biscuits, fruit, and juice), the second morning we ate in the conservatory and had a delicious range of food, all prepared freshly. Our room had homemade flapjack on the tea making tray and spare toiletries if had needed them. We will return here again and can't recommend highly enough!

Fantastic stay at the Moor view B and B. Both Andrew and Linda are great hosts who are extremely accommodating, friendly and full of top local tips. If you are looking to do a hike through the Yorkshire dales, I could not recommend this stay highly enough.

Great hosts in Andrew and Linda fantastic breakfast ,Outstanding comfort, great location for local attractions and the room with the patio worth its weight in gold for the views .Totally outstanding cant wait to get more free time to go back and get some more quality relaxing time .Best ever short weekend away in a long time.I would rate this accommodation and its hosts and location 10 out of 10.

Absolutely beautiful place in a beautiful location! Rooms were spotless and cosy with all the amenities you could ever need and gorgeous views over the dales. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and generous, very knowledgeable about the area and lovely to chat to. Plenty of recommendations and suggestions of nearby things to do are provided too which we loved! Breakfast was wonderful, and the conservatory nook set up for guests took our experience up a notch with it's beautiful scenery and cosy atmosphere. The care and attention to detail shown by Linda & Andrew really shows and it felt like home from home, we cannot recommend them enough.

Linda and Andrew were great hosts with a hot scone and cuppa on arrival. Room beautiful looking out onto the well established garden. Breakfast made to order couldn't fault anything all high quality local produce. Would highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful place. It was spotlessly clean , the rooms had everything you could need with little extras too. We had warm homemade scones on arrival and homemade flapjacks in our room as well. Andrew and Linda were so helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious. We would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at moorview in June 2023. What a fantastic place this is. Lovely room and a wonderful breakfast run by a very nice couple. Lots to do close to the lakes and plenty of places to eat. A very nice Italian in ingelton and a couple of pubs.
