Absolutely loved our trip to this place. Beautiful house and even better surroundings. Christine the ownwer was so welcoming and friendly as we're her two dogs. Lovely breakfast each day and excellent use of the snooker table. Can't wait to go again. Immaculately clean and quirky.

Just got back from a lovely stay, felt at home straight away. Christine is an excellent host and all the staff are so friendly, and she helped us with our booking was so accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and homely, the breakfast is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. And we can’t forget Spencer the spaniel, loved him. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you for having us.

As soon as we walked into this beautiful family home we felt welcome. Christine, the owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was beautiful and the bed incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast served to us by the friendly and attentive Toby, complete with sausages and bacon from the pigs on the farm on site. Bring your wellies if you want to walk around the extensive grounds, Christine’s spaniels will gladly take you for a muddy walk to see the pigs, river and walled kitchen garden. A special place where we are looking forward to return to very soon.

What a lovely place to stay! Christine told us to make ourselves at home - and we absolutely did! The sitting room was a lovely place to have a chat with the warmth of the log fire. The snooker room was good fun and we were able to make full use of its full size, with no anxieties regarding our inabilities to play. The room in between provided lots of entertainment with the baby grand piano and our attempts at playing the music that was available for us to peruse. The bed was comfy, the shower was excellent and the breakfast was lovely -with an opportunity to feel a little bit special whilst using the matching crockery. So... would we recommend it? Absolutely 100% yes. There was nothing we didn't like about Burnhopeside Hall. Thank you Christine for helping to make our weekend so special. Bob and Margaret
