The Bayou Hotel Langkawi

it was a really nice hotel with very friendly staff! The reception staff was really nice to help us book a spa and the pool was a nice place to hang out. They also give a complimentary bar drink and local snacks for checking in. Our only complains are that the toilet was designed a bit weirdly - floor gets wet easily & the staff at the tour booking booth is superrrr unhelpful and unfriendly/unbothered. My friend and I both agree she’s the least friendly person in the whole hotel! Would recommend booking tours or activities elsewhere

We did a reservation with a really good price in Trip.com. We wouldn't spend a lot of time at the hotel so we didn't need much but the hotel really surprised us in a positive way. Bedrooms were small but well cleaned, AC worked very well and had sleeping mode so we could leave it on during the night and it would be quiet. Common areas are very well decorated and confortable. The hotel provided a welcome drink at the bar and it was good quality. The hotel also provided water bottles, a box of snacks and toiletry items. There was drinkable water available in all floors for free. There is a Tours' stand at the lobby with good options and prices. All the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. One day we forgot to take off the "do not disturb" sign at the bedroom door and so our bedroom was not cleaned so we went to the reception to ask for 2 clean towels. They immediately provided them and also offered the option for the bedroom to be cleaned right away but we thought it was not necessary. We thought it was kind of them. Overall, very good price-benefit hotel. I would repeat the experience and recommend it!

Great location and nice staff

The location was good. Short walking distance to the beach, main street with restaurants and shops. Hotel amenities are all renovated, but the rooms are not. They are clean, though. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Will book again upon our return from Koh Lipe.
