The food and service are super five stars. This review is mainly for the staff who served us. They are enthusiastic, talkative and proactive in offering help. Staying in Ambong is a wonderful experience. Monkeys greet you like an employee. Although the road is steep, it is very private! The only drawback is that the bed is still a little yellow, and the Wifi is broken and not handled in time, but overall, I am still satisfied. Thank you to the staff.

Upon arrival we waited 30 minutes in a very warm reception before we were greeted with no cold water.
However after the staff found us and started helping. They were really nice and I felt bad for complaining but we were on a romantic outing and needed some downtime after my wife had a miscarriage 2 days before birth. There was no chance of spa or massage as it was either fully booked or just not running.
For the price I could get the same service down the road, but I'll have a room with a pool. So we went down the road and paid 120 ringgit for a room which opens onto a pool.
It's all about comparing. And unfortunately this was money lost. But still a nice place just not worth the price.

forest theme is strong, space arrange in room is very comfortable, forest and partial sea view is the best, amenities are just soso, service is ok, people are very nice, location is a little far from the cenang beach, grab can't come up to pick up and drop off from the room, need.to climb.

1. The hotel service has five-star quality. The staff are attentive and have natural smiles. They will come to the room terrace at six o'clock every day to help you light mosquito coils. There are welcome fruits. 
2. The facilities are only of three-star quality. This hotel has been open for 12 years and the facilities are a bit outdated. Bath towels are rather old. 
3. The food and environment are of five-star quality. The breakfast is rich and there is freshly squeezed juice for you to drink. There are tropical rainforests and incomparable sea viewsThere are natural mountain breezesand the environment is first-class.
