The best way to describe this hotel is, a 3-star hotel with a 4-5 star resort personality and quality :) While searching online prior to booking, I found that it is 3-star and boutique level (I have learned in the past during my few stays in LGK, 3-star on actual site is often actually 2-star and less) which admittedly, already sealed my expectations but I was banking on it being revamped and newly launched few months ago so worth a check-out. While the front facade is newly painted and looks like a shop lot converted hotel, my oh my, the moment you enter the Reception area, everything is so well designed and nowhere near its first impression - and the Bayou was definitely being sneaky on me with its amazing pool backyard view! Room was great and as aesthetically pleasing as advertised, breakfast was a good spread and staff was superbly friendly. It felt like we were in a resort hotel in spite of its location. Another thing that I enjoy here is the openness of the Lobby area with ample seating areas, separated by flexible sliding glass doors which made the area more spacious than it actually is - the design is very clever. This wild card was definitely worth it!

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

One of the best places to stay in Langkawi, definitely will stay again if we ever return. Room was Instagram worthy. The pool was warm, refreshing and regularly cleaned. Great location right on the Cenang beach strip. Right across from the aquarium and within short walking distance of the beach and many good local restaurants. However the hotels layout gives you a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Housekeeping was 10/10 — refreshments, beverages and toiletries were replenished daily. New towels are provided if you leave the old on the floor, and new linens are provided upon request.

initially thought that the hotel we booked was a mistake coz there was no car park and the lobby wasn’t impressive. but once we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised that the family room (2 king size beds) was spacious, clean and cold. we only realized that you can ask the reception to provide complimentary car park service at the sister property which was only 200m away from this hotel. We loved the location of the hotel as it is very convenient to malls/ shop lots/ restaurants and of course the beautiful beach! Will definitely stay here again the next time! ❤️😘

Front desk service is excellent, efficient, full of smiles, I couldn't ask for more. However the sea view I got was one that came with two rows of sandbags and iron bridge on a stretch of beach that's without lounge chairs and definitely not suitable for swimming. The chalet's design is pretty old evident from the window lock and balcony door lock. Set dinner at Spice Market was out of this world! Must try! There are two restaurants available for hotel breakfast every morning and you can visit both every day. Housekeeping was really slow, I hope they can increase staff efficiency in this department since they even forgot to include a hair dryer for me in the room and I had to call to ask for one. I hereby include a picture of their hairdryer, I'm surprised a 4 digits per night hotel offers such a tiny hairdryer. I wasn't expecting Dyson but this is just wow. anyway, allow me to repeat, front desk staff was fabulous!

Stayed at Ombak Villa Langkawi for two nights and absolutely loved it. Very clean and well maintained place with friendly staff. Our days started with a great buffet breakfast with lots of items to choose from. Location is not near food and amenities but we could get Grab service easily.

Hotel has provided the good service. When we ask the room service at night the staff come quickly to assist us. Also, they will clean the room every day. However, the room is little bit dark and don’t have enough lighting.

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

They informed us about the complimentary tea break from 5 - 7 pm and highlighted the various facilities available at the hotel. The service throughout our stay was attentive and courteous. Cleanliness: The hotel maintained a satisfactory level of cleanliness throughout our visit. Our room was well-kept, and the common areas were tidy and hygienic. Location: Bayview Hotel's location in Kuah is more towards the local side in Langkawi. It's close to several attractions including Splash Out Langkawi, Maha Tower, and the iconic Eagle Square. Additionally, the Kuah night market is nearby, although it's advisable to check the opening days and timings beforehand. Amenities: The hotel offers a range of amenities that enhanced our stay. The swimming pool area, complete with a jacuzzi, was a delightful spot to relax and unwind. As a gym goer myself, I was a little disappointed as the gym machines were limited, unable to do a wide range of exercises, but it provided the basic equipment needed for a workout session. Overall Impression: Our experience at Bayview Hotel was enjoyable and comfortable. The combination of excellent service, convenient location, and decent amenities made our stay memorable. We would certainly consider staying here again on our next visit to Langkawi.

The breakfast buffet so sar ok, and the pool provided perfect relaxation.
