The hotel is in a safe and quiet location with plenty of parking. It is right next door to a small shopping center that has some stores and cafes. I felt comfortable walking alone there at night. There is a nice waterfront park that is a very short drive away. The staff were very friendly and the room was great. Bed was super comfy and the shower was spacious. The pool and hot tub were also nice. The only odd thing was that the blanket on the bed was actually a mattress pad - not a big deal, just thought it was odd. There were actual blankets in the closet to use. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our favorite place to stay in Ithaca. The location is convenient, being very close to the highway as well as two malls, the rooms are spacious and quiet, and the breakfast is better than most other places.

It was a great getaway spot and we’ll be back for sure - it was a little tough to be in the pool, it was honestly the coldest hotel pool I’ve ever encountered, like an icy lake, frigid! But the hot tub was super warm and many times we had it to ourselves which was a treat. The pool maintenance guy was so great, the checkin folks were lovely. Any down side to the stay was a desire for a bigger gym (and stricter rules about kids and people who don’t use a gym just playing on the equipment and running wild like it was a playground, that was a shame), but there’s a planet fitness nearby so that was easy. We love staying at homewood suites with the kitchens which is easier for families with picky eaters/kids. It was a shame though that the breakfast was a little haphazard- would’ve preferred yogurt without candy cereal like trix, just plain yogurt and fresh fruit is great. Everything felt safe here, it’s not a super high end hotel, it’s perfect for a longer stay, a getaway with Ithaca to explore nearby! We’ll be back but honestly will have to bring wetsuits to venture into the pool with our kid!

The hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes of the Cornell campus and the rooms were fine. However, the breakfast offerings were not up to Hilton standards and the fitness center had very few machines in a tiny room. There is no housekeeping unless you request it.
