Parkside Hotel (Lanzhou Xiguan, Zhengning Road) Reviews

Let me start with the good~ Service: Full marks. The service attitude is very good and there are emergency measures. Environment: Satisfactory, unique style. Next, let me talk about the bad~ Hygiene: There are dead corners, dirty carpets and cracks in floor tiles (maybe because the hotel has been used for too long). Facilities: Really poor. I stayed for a total of two nights. I booked a standard room at first (close to the road and very noisy). After arriving at the room, I contacted the staff to change the room, but was told that the standard rooms are close to the road, so I gave up the change (I told myself that there might be less noise at night with fewer cars). The result is that I was too naive. It is no exaggeration to say that I felt like I was sleeping on the road. I didn't fall asleep all night and I was in a state of being ready to explode at any time. The next day, we decided to add a quilt and change to a king-size bed room (on a business trip with colleagues). The first room we changed to was also very noisy (the sound of the restaurant equipment, which said it would be better after midnight). At this time, we couldn't help but want to change hotels. The customer service staff contacted the front desk staff and suggested that we change to other areas. It would be better; when we communicated with the front desk, the front office supervisor upgraded our room type for free. The service attitude was quite warm, but the air conditioner in the last room we changed was very loud (automatic mode), so we turned off the air conditioner and wrapped ourselves tightly in the quilt to sleep for a night (compared to the previous room noise, which was negligible). Others: There was a beautiful afternoon tea on the first day of stay, which was a bit hard to describe. I remember that there were fruits when I booked the room (redeemed by deducting points), and I don't know if the one I received was the same (see picture). In short, it was not very pleasant.
