Check-in freundlich. Zustand des Hotels mangelhaft, sehr hellhörig, dünne Wände, jedes Geräusch aus dem Nachbarzimmer hörbar. Nachts offensichtlich kein Personal im Haus, so das "randalierende" Gäste nicht zur Ruhe gebracht wurden.

Très bruyant surtout la nuit : les portes claquent et les gens parlent très fort !!!
Petit déjeuner : mouche dans le miel, moucherons autour des confitures et également plein de moucherons dans la corbeille des croissants !!! Petit déjeuner à 12€ ?!? Le prix ne les vaut pas !!!

Our first visit to France in almost 10 years and the stay in Laon was to break-up a longer journey. The check-in was quick and easy.
The room was quite basic but the thought of having an air-con unit was great until we realised that it needed some maintenance, as it was dripping water. By now it was late, so we simply placed a small bin under the main drip, which a bit noisy but didn't spoil our sleep.
The black-out blinds were brilliant and the shower was great, which is always important.
Continental breakfast was nice, with a good selection of breads, croissants, jams, meats and cheeses. There was also coffees and fresh fruit juices.
We didn't use the restaurant but it did look nice and there were a few people dining in there when we walked past it.

La chambre était propre, accueillante et zen. Dans la salle de bain le mobilier est sobre mais fonctionnel, par contre le rideau de douche n'est ni pratique ni moderne.
