Best Hotels near Caohagan Island, Lapu-Lapu City

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

I was looking for a hotel near the airport and near the grocery and restaurants during a recent trip to Cebu. My usual stay had a big price increase and since it was far from the airport, I tried looking for a new hotel. I used to stay at other hotels near Felicity and thought that the prices were a bit steep for hotels without pools. I chanced on them while browsing Google Maps and gave them a call. It's good that they had a vacancy and so I made my way from the client site to the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the bright lobby. The single room, though, had a weird layout with the sink just behind the door but not inside the bathroom. Still it was value for money because it had hot and cold water, a cool air conditioner, a refrigerator, a flat screen TV and clean sheets. Since it was just beside the highway, I expected to hear scooters darting across. Well, most of the noise came from fellow guests walking through the corridors after making bar crawls, I guess. Aside from that, the hotel is great value for money. I'm looking forward to staying with them in future trips.

I booked this hotel with my 11 year daughter to have my birthday staycation. The hotel was quite new and designs are modern. Check in was very smooth with very kind polite front desk officers. I was allowed to have an early check in as the hotel wasnt fully booked at that time and was kind to offer me a room upgrade. I politely declined the upgrade as the bed configuration wasnt suited for me and my daughter. We wanted a twin bed and the room upgrade was for one queen sized bed only. The size of our room was relatively small for a twin bed room. Its roughly 21sqm in size and it kinda tight when all your luggages and things have been all around the room. The Buffet breakfast was on the average side, Hot dishes werent kept warm and choices was kinda limited. But for the average kind of breakfast spread, I wouldnt complain more. The hotel is very near (I mean walking distance) to 7/11 convenience Stores, good quality restaurants nearby , Mcdonalds, Mactan Alfresco etc... I love the ambiance of the community ... its like a little city within a small community. Not that I really didnt like that much, but it was just something that I didnt appreciated much... its the hotel's pool that looks like blurry and wasnt kept clean by the time we went to visit the area. The prices at the bar was kinda pricey and wouldnt offer any happy hour during the day. The Surroundings of the pool area werent kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

Such a beautiful resort !!! I didn’t get the most welcoming check in but Ralph checked in my friend and he got a room right away. We switched to Ralph and he handed everything to quickly and there was room available for us as well . He’s so competent, approach and very warm towards the guest . Aside the check in, the breakfast has lots of options , cocktails bars / happy hours Monday to Thursday great deal !! I loved Salt and sky bar on the rooftop, the sunset view amazing . Paddle board , kayaking and the 8 different pools that we tested . Want grill menu , amazing, and the waiter will bring your cocktail to the beach as well. Over the friendly staff made the trip so enjoyable and the other guest , mainly Korean so friendly and kind. I had the best Christmas on this resort and I can’t wait to return back with my husband.

We had a late and delayed flight but grateful the van (free airport shuttle) waited for us. The lobby was simple & check-in was easy. Before going up to our room, they asked us to get the amenities we need (dental kits, shaving kits & combs). We stayed at the Twin C Room, it has a big ref, kitchen sink, tv, microwave, dining table & chairs & 2 big beds. The bathroom was like the ones in Japan, compact & small. There were no cabinets too. The beds were comfortable to sleep on & the ac was working well. Breakfast was served in what was like a cafeteria hall, it was supposed to be plated but it was served buffet style, breakfast menu was simple. It changes everyday. Location of the hotel is superb & convenient because its connected to J Centre Mall and there were pharmacies, banks, convenience stores & a spa nearby. Happy to have our massage there. The hotel was also beside the Skywater theme park but unfortunately it was indefinitely closed. Checkout was easy too. They allowed us to leave our luggage because we have a late flight, we just came back for it. We weren’t able to avail of the free shuttle going back to the airport because we weren’t able to book a day before (it’s not automatic even if they have your flight information), good thing we have relatives to bring us to the airport. Overall, price was reasonable and we had a nice & comfortable stay here.

During my stay, I enjoyed the spa services, which were incredibly relaxing. The resort also offers a range of activities, from water sports to cultural experiences, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. In conclusion, my stay at Costabella Resort in Cebu, Philippines, was truly great. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and with memories that will last a lifetime. We had so much fun during our stay. The hotel staffs are also very accommodating. Make sure to keep your towels inside the rooms when checking out as there are corresponding fees for lost items. Bringing of food bought outside is also prohibited so if you are to do this, make sure to bring your trash with you and throw it in trash cans outside the hotel. We will go back soon. I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

We booked the Cebu Suite, but when we arrived the hotel, they said my room is not available. The hotel said because the agency had late payment and the room is no longer available. Trip.com tried to help me but it took me an hour to settle the problem. Actually I am not satisfied because I contacted Trip.com before my trip to confirm the room again but they said the room is reserved for me. If they checked more carefully would make my trip more smooth. Luckily they helped me to settle the problem. During the stay, the room is a bit old, I want more blankets and towels for my kids but they didn’t provide. The waterpark is good, the breakfast is okay, the staff are nice. My kids enjoy the trip.

My wife, son, and I went there for my birthday. We wanted to try a new resort in Cebu. Wow were we overwhelmed and surprised. The Sheraton staff treated us with kindness and as if we had been there multiple times. Every single staff member greeted us. From the housekeeping to the guards at both entrances. They even took my son by the hand and kept him entertained while we were checking in. They gave him popcorn. I was also shocked at the one restaurant when they sang happy birthday and gave me a wonderfully delightful cake. It was so smooth and silky. The food was also perfect and tender. The sauce for the fries was very creamy and tasty. For the first time in the almost twelve years in Cebu, even having been to numerous Cebuano resorts including Shangri-la everything was 100 percent perfect. The wifi was strong and no lag, the food was perfect, parking perfect, staff were perfect, beach and pool were clean and perfect. We even go to feed the fish as well which the guard at the water activities area gave us. I mean it was all around perfect for the first time here in Cebu. At Breakfast they even gave me a thank you cake for staying there. I couldn't believe it. It really felt homey and that warm feeling. For the money we spent it was 100 percent worth it. Oh by the way the atmosphere was perfect too. No loud people on cellphones everywhere talking or taking selfies and the like.
