It was a very fulfilling trip.
The hotel guide, Mr. JUN, was a really nice guy. When I applied for the island hopping leisure package, Mr. JUN showed his true colors!

The hotel was very clean, and although it seemed to be a historic hotel, it was well-cleaned and well-maintained, and had a very clean feel.
The view was also what you would expect from a resort! I'll definitely be coming back.
The only negative thing was that the sink in the bathroom of the room I stayed in was clogged, but the water went away if I left it for a while, so it didn't bother me, but I think the hotel staff would fix it right away if I asked them. All the staff were so friendly and polite.

We stayed two nights here before continuing our journey. The stay was very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, as were the lunches and dinners. Its called white sand, so I was hoping for a nice beach.
The beach is not really a beach, its a small portion of sand where you can't even swim...
I took a superior room and it was not clean, way over priced. The only things I like is the rooftop restaurant and that that the staff is very friendly ;) They should really change name though, the sand isn't even white!

Considering that most Cebu hotels are old, it is good value for money.
Breakfast is similar to all Cebu breakfasts. It is just so-so.
The hotel pool is well-run, and the small pool is cleaned of fallen leaves all day, so I couldn't swim there, but
the main pool has one side that is shallow, so it is good for children to play, and the other side is deep enough for adults to swim.
When you leave the hotel, there are massage shops and various restaurants toward J Park Resort.
There is a large supermarket right in front, so it is convenient for shopping, and the Thai restaurant Green Papaya was also delicious.
