St Leonards Guest House

Keith and Leah were excellent hosts. Keith makes you feel very welcome, advising on dining out and travel destinations. I had an issue with my car, Keith contacted the local garage and arranged repair. Nothing too much trouble. Hotel is modern and well presented, good location. Leah's breakfast kept me going for the day. Would i return, absolutely.

This was a very comfortable and friendly place with excellent breakfast. It was spotlessly clean but did not smell of heavy duty cleaners..... Which I am slightly allergic to. So all good.....and handy for the train station, town and the seafront.

Was looking for some traditional Scottish bed n breakfast hospitality and somewhere to wind down after a few days in Glasgow for a funeral. Keith's home/guesthouse ticked all the boxes. Me and my son stayed in Cumbrae room 6, a twin room with shared bathroom and shower facilties. You only share with one other room and the whole time I was there both were always vacant when I needed to use them. Both were also immaculate at all times. The shower room is superb, a shower attached to the ceiling aswell as a traditional one. The wet area is massive, as is the bathroom. Shower gel and shampoo provided, alongside towels and bathrobes in your room. The room was comfortable, with TV, large drawers, hangers, seating, sink and a fridge. It was perfect for our needs. Well heated and large windows if you need some sea breeze. We had a lovely view aswell. Breakfast in the mornings was a treat, especially the Black Pudding. Lovely coffee, full Scottish fry up and toast set us up nice for the day for a cycle round cumbrae. Keith is a great host, has local insight and interacts with his guests. Theres a bench beside the guest entrance to relax at, or in my case to have a vape. The location is great, minutes away from everything in Largs town and very close to train station. Also has a morrisons supermarket on your doorstep. We'll return to this guest house again, happily. Ticks every box for me and my son.

A gem of a place near Largs train station. Keith was absolutely amazing, room was fantastic as was breakfast. Would definitely return.

Another stay at the best B&B in Largs, brilliant weekend, fabulous weather, and Keith as usual is a brilliant host, amazing breakfast, wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Largs, thankyou Keith and lia for your amazing hospitality always made very welcome, thanks again and see you at end of the year.

Whole guest house absolutely spotless. Lovely comfortable room, with tea coffee etc . Fresh milk in fridge. Good selection of toiletries. Lovely fluffy towels. Great breakfast freshly made to order. Great friendly, chatty helpful service. Definitely recommend

My sister and I have just had a couple of nights at St Leonard's guest house it was first class. I had a birthday when we were there and it was made extra special with the card and prosecco from Keith and his partner,also letting my other 2 sisters to come for breakfast on the morning of my birthday. Had a great time.

Had the most wonderful time here, comfy bed, rooms are excellent and the breakfast is just heaven, fruit salad with cream, crossants and the cooked breakfast is delicious, and finally keith the host is a gentleman, his banter is brilliant, makes you feel right at home. i highly recommend St Leonards if you want a nice relaxing break..
