Nirvana Hotel

We really enjoyed the Nirvana hotel. The rooms are recently renovated and are clean and comfortable. The rooms have a very nice smell, however the smell can be kind of strong and overwhelming (we could still smell it on our clothes when we got home). New A/C units kept the rooms nice and cool in the July heat. The use of pin enabled door locks is a nice touch and eliminates the need to have a key. I really liked the fact that the hotel utilizes a text message system to communicate with you before, during, and after your stay. You can text the front desk and will get a quick response. They will even send you your room number and door lock code if you check in late, which is really nice. My only complaint is the area. It is nice that its directly across the street from Mandalay Bay but the area feels sketchy. Once the sun goes down, south of the hotel is full of ********** and ghetto people. We went into the Shell up the road after sun down and we felt very sketchy. Wouldn't recommend it unless you carry a firearm or pepper spray. All in all the Nirvana was a nice hotel, affordable, and conveniently placed at the south end of the *****.

Was in town for the WNBA all-star game and it was fantastic that it was a short 10 minute walk to the arena from the hotel. There was one issue with the AC unit and took a while for the room to cool down but other than that staff were awesome and service was impeccable!

The property is an older “ motor court” style Motel. I wanted a place to stay the night before a flight out of Vegas without the hassle of checking into one of the large Vegas hotels and paying a resort fee that I wasn’t going to use. The Nirvana fit all my needs. Clean, fairly priced, and accommodating.

Hidden gem right on the *****. Family-run hotel in renovated site offers affordable, clean accommodations walking distance to everything on the *****. Includes picnic basket fresh breakfast delivered to our room every morning. Very friendly staff. Luxury towels, linens, and robes were a plus.

The Nirvana is an amazing little place. Tucked behind the *****, across from Mandalay Bay. It has NO resort fee, and FREE parking. ($30.00 average ***** hotel parking). Remodeled, it's an old property, but it is the BEST spot for excursions further up the blvd. Breakfast is available, and will be delivered to your door. This is NOT a PARTY hotel. They have quiet hours between 9pm and 7am. On-site security. There is a garden/park area at the back of the property. No insuite telephones. WiFi is free, and there is cable TV. The bed was quite comfortable, and the blackout curtains do their job. The only distraction is the airport next door, but the sound was fairly well dampened. Overall, a great, mildly quirky, but truly friendly place to stay. We will stay here gladly, any time we visit Vegas.
