My boyfriend and I flew to Vegas for my birthday, and spent a wonderful week at the Rio Hotel, the room was wonderful, I liked everything! View from the window (we were on the 8th floor), clean bathroom, housekeeping came daily at the same time

Price is reasonable, it is off the ***** but you can walk to the ***** in 10-15 minutes, reasonable distance. Room is spacious and quite well maintained! Hotel is now partially under renovation, looking forward for the newly constructed area! Though some part of the hotel is not in service, but I was surprised to see there’s a good Chinese restaurant inside the hotel! It was a good experience!

Overall not bad wish it had the jacuzzi bathtub that this app said it had

It's only 15-20mins walk to sunset ***** so location wise it's pretty good! Better than paying A LOT more to stay on the *****. HOWEVER the hotel is too crowded and understaffed. Whenever we called housekeeping or reception, half of the time they didn't answer or even when they did, they didn't follow through our request for the room. Eg 1. We complained because the hot water didn't work, hotel said they will send someone, no one came, had to call again and raise my voice, then someone finally came to fix it. I mean, hot water SHOULD work at 4star hotel and when they don't, I at least expect a prompt action to handle the situation. Eg 2. We called housekeeping and no one answered. Called again and again and asked for the cleaning. Came back to the room in the afternoon and it wasn't cleaned. Called again and asked. Came back at night and it wasn't cleaned. Called again and they said cleaning ladies weren't there and asked what we needed. I said a few things and someone only brought one of them. Asked again and still didnt get what we wanted, we were too tired and let it go (it was midnight) I complained about these to the manager and we got 2 days of the resort fee back (out of 4) but it was just disappointing. Still, I loved the room itself as it was humongous and beautifully decorated. I actually would recommend it to friends warning about the service because I did love the room but had to wrote the honest review so people could decide what they want to tolerate themselves when choosing a place to stay.

Wonderful experience for the upgraded renovated rooms. They are amazing! Across the street you can find some budget friendly restaurants and Walgreens.

We stay rio hotel every time we visit our family every time we stay this hotel we have very good time rooms are nice size

Under construction and not all restaurants open every day so limited choices to eat. Adult pool was not open during week days. One pool was way too hot set to a jacuzzi temperature.

Spent 2 nights. Our room was not newly renovated but spacious and clean. Water was hot and great water pressure. Check in took 20 minutes as there was a line but totally understandable. Great choices for food, pool was awesome and service was great. Ate at the Voodoo and WOW, EXCEPTIONAL!! Billy was a Rockstar and delivered great service above and beyond! Will keep coming to the Rio. Great Value, close enough to the *****. A great Stay!!!

We picked this hotel based on pool being open, it was actually not a convenient location. I called days prior to arrival to make sure the pool was open, and verified. When we arrived all slot machines were down, apparently just bought by new company. Pool was definitely CLOSED. The furniture in our room was disgusting. All suites? No alarm clock, no fridge. All they had was a bed to sleep in for the same price I would've paid for something close to the venue we visited. We paid an unbelievable amount for transportation FOR NO REASON. The staff was absolutely careless about our situation . I absolutely would not recommend staying here.

The rio is a great hotel if you are willing to sacrifice a prime location and overall quality for a dirt cheap, and i mean dirt cheap price tag. The rooms are dated however still decently clean. I was able to uber to the ***** for about 6-10 bucks depending on the time of day. I would stay here again.

The price is cheap and the room is too big. Enjoy your stay in Rio.

They upgraded us to deluxe room. Very affordable. Nice staff. Los of parking slots. Amazing stay, will definitely come back.
