Very underwhelmed, no atmosphere, definitely not what we imagined. Well we come again? No. Very boring place , staff lacking personality and seemed bored themselves . Food very mediocre, prices high . Certainly not a cheery places to visit

Beautiful! We booked 3 rooms, 2 of us slept like babies in room 10 and 24 but sadly room 16s bed was sadly like sleeping on bricks. Having said that the place is so amazing, staff is friendly and the rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. Also a little too hot in room 16 and 10.

We were going to a wedding nearby so it was a convenient place to stay. Can't fault the rooms which were clean and well appointed. The receptionists were very helpfull. Long waits in the bar and restaurant. A straw was found in a pint of beer!! Extortionate high season price was definitely not worth the money.

Our second stay was excellent. Breakfast was great, Tina looked after us for it and she was helpful and friendly. Stayed in room 5. And had plenty of paranormal activity in the night . I warm welcome at reception, and a cosy inn. To stay and enjoy the atmosphere

Ideally located on the way to Cornwall. Accommodation, food and facilities very acceptable. The small museum on Daphne Du Maurier and local smuggling was fascinating - needed more time! Great gift shop.

We love the Jamaica Inn!! Food is great and there is so much to do with the museum and shops. Kids love how eerie the place is!! Stayed for an additional night on our holiday, had a lovely walk on the moors. Be back next year!!

Called ahead due to the mixed information we found online regarding dogs. We were told dogs were only welcome in the courtyard so we left them at our holiday accommodation. We get to the bar area to find ALL the tables reserved for food. We, as a family of 5 sat on a table for 2 that was unreserved as we saw a couple leave. Whilst sat there, we witnessed 3 dogs in the bar area conflicting the information we were given. We left even without finishing our drinks.

Beautiful location on Bodmin Moor, plenty of outside seating to make the most of it when weather allows it, a cosy residence lounge to use when it doesn't. Staff were great super friendly and nothing to much trouble. Food was excellent, really good breakfast. Inn is cosy and rooms were very comfortable. First visit here for many years and so great to see how much it's been improved. 10/10

Stopped for Sunday lunch and had an amazing roast dinner, had turkey and my husband had beef, which he really enjoyed. Good value and great views (if you sit outside). Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely setting. Will definitely go back and would recommend.
