DO NOT STAY HERE if you actually want to sleep! Location very good in the centre of town. Kitchen large but not well equipped and not enough fridges. Not really enough showers/toilets for the number of guests, but they were reasonably clean. The pods themselves are comfortable enough but there is absolutely zero chance of more than a couple of hours sleep. The pods are made of thin plastic so you can hear everything. Even when people are trying to be quiet (and most of them clearly are not) the lockers make a noise when being opened and shut, the light spills from the pod above/below and basically there is little chance of sleep. It’s like camping indoors! The bedding was very clean and comfortable tho. No staff to be seen - not sure why there is no one in duty after 5. Would never stay here again, BUT, there is a dearth of cheap accommodation options in Launceston.

First time I sleep in a capsule "coffin experience". It is less caustrophobic I expected. It is comfortable, but everytime somebody goes in-out or moves in the bed awakes me. Lighting is annoying. It smells a lot mature cheddar cheese when people take the shoes off. Good location. Convenient facilities. And...affordable cause there are no many hotels and can get very expensive.

This is my second time to stay here. It is very nice place. In this time, I buy meats and vegetable to cook here for my dinner. It is very comfortable. This place locates in central so we can find some restaurant or shop easily. For male, there are three bathrooms and two toilets. There are hair dryer as well. I recomment you to choose the bed far from the door because they are some noisy at night.

Only stayed one night as I was passing through. Nice and clean for a quiet nights sleep.

This is definitely something to tick off your bucket list. Was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable our pod was. Slightly noisy in the early morning, but we were awake and didn’t disturb us too much. Would recommend for short stay affordable option 😁

Average facility

Very clean. Right in the middle of launceston. Kitchen could be more well equipped with a stove, pots and pans to enable some cooking. Love the futuristic pods. Not a sociable hostel to stay in, as most will choose to hole themselves up in the comfy pods.

Very pleased with my stay at Pod Inn. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place very clean and washroom and shower facilities very sufficient. The location also very good. A thumbs up to the place and staff. But if the kitchen better equipped would be even nicer.

Even though I sent an email to inform them of a late check-in, I did not receive a reply. Both times. Other than that, no complaints
