We had dinner at The Selsey Arms. The service was prompt, the food excellent and the prices reasonable (especially the glass of wine!) The menu was fairly standard pub fare although the quality above-avearge as were the portion sizes! The artisan bread is home-made and not to be missed - it comes with an olive oil and balsamic dip. However, it is the Specials board that deserves special mention. When we dined there, the Specials were warm pigeon salad, moroccan lamb on flatbread, fisherman's pie and (my choice) oxtail. The oxtail was superb - a huge portion with plenty of vegetables My dinner partners had ham hock, eg and chips - the hock was perfectly cooked and agian a generous portion. The fish and cips were perfectly cooked and, as to be expected, genrous. The bill was just over £100 for three including drinks but excluding a tip - excellent value for money!! All three of us would highly recommend The Selsey Arms
