LOCALS ARE NOT ALLOWED! We went through the hopper app, purchased our room. When we arrived to check inn my boyfriend was told no locals and there was nothing more she could do. We could not get a refund on this so I went in to ask why it was not included in the description of the hotel. The front desk lady continued to say that corporate does not allow them to publicly show this. I told her “I’m not mad at you, you just work here, I would just like to know how we can get this fixed or a actual good reason as to why we are being shown away after already paying” she then says I already explained to “mr.smith” he can call hopper and they will handle it” and I tried to again say no we can not get a refund and she told me if I can’t accept the terms that I can get the F out. Excuse me?!?! I then proceeded to tell her great thanks for the help and left. Then later while trying to find corporate number and there isn’t one!! You can’t find anything about headquarters so even though I hated to I called the knights inn we tried to stay at and sure enough she answered. I asked for corporates number first thing and she told me they were individually owned… I thought corporate! Didn’t allow locals??? So I say well can I have a managers number or anyone in management. She then asks is this the lady with “mr.smith” and I said yes and proceeded to say “as I told him you can get a refund through the app” and I said I honestly don’t care about that anymore i just want a number to someone superior, she then tells me it’s only she there, and I asked is there really not a number or are you just being difficult and what do you know she hung up on me. You can best bet even if I wasn’t a local I would never EVER stay here. How can someone be so rude around this time of year?
