Hotels near Archaeological Museum, Lecco

If you do to Lake Como stay in LECCO. I loved this town. It is on the right arm of the Y on lake como. The town isn't touristy and that is what I loved. The only downside was the heat. It was the hottest week in July with temps well over 95 everyday. We had a JR Suite and it was clean and served it purpose. The breakfast was amazing. Those eggs! The only thing was the a/c wasn't that good but I do understand the temps were not normal so I am not holding that against them. Go to this city it is authentic, not touristy and absolutely beautiful!

The hotel is located in a beautiful area. You can get to Lecco on foot and you can get to the long lake of Malgrate on foot, covering the entire length of it. The interiors are a bit outdated (old carpet in the corridors). In general the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was impeccable. The wait staff was very kind.

We booked the hotel almost 2 months in advance. We booked 2 separate rooms. Upon our arrival, there were only 2 staff members at the reception and it was impossible to get the bags up because of how inconvenient their layout is. You have to climb up a set of 7-8 steps, and a rocky road to reach the hotel. After this already draining task the receptionist informed us about how their ACs aren’t working because of a thunderstorm the day prior, and how there isn’t anything he can do about it. If we knew this information a day prior, we wouldn’t have continued our stay in the hotel. The weather outside was 31-34° c and no one could’ve stayed a night without the AC. They gave us 2 rooms that did have AC but the temperature would’ve go below 23/24°c and it was as good as having no AC. The room was also much smaller than mentioned/shown in the pictures. The staff wasn’t helpful and upon a lot of convincing they said that they were able to get 4 of us 1 room at an extension of their hotel about 5-6 minutes away. We argued with them stating 1 room is clearly not enough for 3 adults and 15 year old, and that our booked was for 2 rooms, so it’s their responsibility to accommodate the same. Overall a terrible experience and the hotel had a complete lack of staff. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone else since the staff lack the basic courtesy to inform their clients about any problems occurring in the hotel which can clearly affect their stay. The extension of the hotel ended up being much better since it was recently renovated, had a better location & most importantly had a working AC which was a must during the summer here at Como.

An exceptionally clean hotel with the towels and bedding changed on a regular basis. A comprehensive breakfast which is exceptional for an Italian hotel. The quality of the restaurant food was equally good and the service inside the restaurant ( thank you Luca) was equally amazing. In fact all of the staff from the receptionist to the room cleaners were friendly, considerate and efficient. A lively location with a backdrop of lakes and mountains.

In molte camere mancano supporti di sicurezza. Non sono garantite attività dichiarate in fase di prenotazione. Ottima la presenza di infermiera e operatrice socio sanitaria per assistenza a persone anziane. Località misera di attrattive. Posizione hotel disagevole per persone anziane o con problemi di deambulazione. L'erogazione dei servizi di ristorazione molto discutibile e votata al risparmio assoluto di tempo e denaro, senza rispettare i tempi degli ospiti. If there was a rating higher than excellent… I would give that. I don’t have enough good things about our stay at the Villa Mojana. Anna and the entire team were nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we started planning my clients wedding and stay at the villa, Anna moved mountains to ensure our stay was a flawless experience from beginning to end. When we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and spritzes and shown to our beautiful rooms, all with incredible lake views. The food at the Villa was remarkable and the entire wait staff did an incredible job at accommodating dietary restrictions with Michelin level food and drink. Getting to and from Bellagio was a breeze, but we throughly enjoyed laying pool side and relaxing. I don’t have enough good things to say about the Villa Mojana, except I can’t wait to come back and I will send every client, friend and stranger. The perfect getaway. Thank you to the entire staff!

The location is excellent, the first row by the lake, the surrounding restaurants are full of wine, the fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator in the room. It is suitable for self-driving, but the blue paid parking space is not easy to find during the peak hours of the holiday. Not to mention the white free one. When you are 400 meters away from the hotel, you will pay attention and there will be a parking space. The hotel does not have a valet parking service. Please inform the license plate number when you check in, otherwise it will fall into the forbidden zone and the ticket will be severe.

siamo da oltre 10 anni assidui frequentatori di questo hotel , purtroppo ci consta affermare che negli ultimi 5 anni ha avuto una decadenza verticale che presto lo assimilera' piu' ad un 3 stelle che al 4 attuale . Facciamo preghiera' al signor De Lorenzo che ne e' responsabile , affinche' inizi una efficace ristrutturazione e imposti una necessaria manutenzione giornaliera di tutta la struttura oramai obsoleta ! Le stanze sono sporche e malandate , dalle finestre al secondo piano si vedono cumuli di mozziconi e sporcizia varia , le parti comuni , ristorante e ascensore compreso necessitano di rinfrescata generale . Sui materassi si sprofonda per l'usura e quando ti alzi se piu' stanco di prima ! Il mobilio delle stanze va' ritoccato e manuntenuto accettabile . La colazione e' appena sufficiente ma non da 4 stelle come lo era qualche anno addietro . Il servizio del ristorante e' confuso , si portano le pietanze sbagliando i tavoli e facendo attendere maggiormente i destinatari...salverei lo chef sempre al top . Ci auguriamo di tornare la prox volta con uno scenario piu' vivibile e rimaniamo a disposizione per suggerimenti e proposte !
