Our experience at the Inn was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in the Roosevelt Room which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly romantic. The suite features a main bedroom with a king sized bed, fireplace, and corner soaking tub with jets. There is also a private bathroom and sitting room within the suite. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Doug took our order table side and shared a bit about the Inn and his favorite places to visit in the area. It was immediately clear that this was his calling. The Inn itself is absolutely stunning, but the way that Doug and Jim run it is what truly makes it remarkable. We will be back!

This was our 5th time staying at the Devonfield The hosts are warm and welcoming and having stayed at many B&Bs we rate them on the host (and breakfast). Doug and Jim are the best. Breakfast as usual was delicious and everything is homemade. Be sure to ask about Jim’s cookbook. The inn itself is beautiful and decorated to make you feel welcome. We’ll be back!

Thoughtful amenities, great breakfast, great service and fantastic location! In the midst of the Massachusetts Berkshires surrounded by acres of gardens and paths through wild flowers. Heated pool in the middle of flower gardens. Close to Tanglewood, Clark Institute, Edith Wharton House, dairy farms.

Devonfield Inn was a beautiful bed-and-breakfast on sprawling grounds. I particularly enjoyed having the pool for late afternoon swims. The innkeepers, Doug and jim were very welcoming and guided you beautifully through all that the Berkshire had to offer. I would recommend this inn highly.

The Inn is just beautiful, the grounds are amazing, the breakfasts were delicious, the host are the best, the happy hour on Friday evening was a lot of fun, especially with the sing-along with the piano player. Our room was a 2 room suite with all the amenities you could want. The towns area surrounding the Inn are charming with lots of things to do, I would highly recommend when visiting the Berkshires staying at the Devonfield Inn.

I could not be happier with our choice to stay at Devonfield. The entire 4 days we stayed here and toured the Berkshires, I didn’t see a single place I’d rather have stayed. The service, peaceful atmosphere and beauty of Devonfield is unsurpassed. Lee, MA is a great central location to 4 main hubs of the Berkshires. Lee is a sweet, clean, quaint town that is a great location to small town dining, but is also easily accessible to the Mass Turnpike/interstate 90. There are Tesla charging stations less than 5 min from Devonfield. Jim and Doug give great recommendations for fun sights and satisfying restaurants. Breakfast at the Devonfield is a wonderful experience. Freshly baked goods, tasty juices and fruits, and choice of sweet or savory main gives your day a gourmet start. The views from the dining room and porch are tranquil and idyllic.

We eloped at the Devonfield over this past weekend. Doug, Jim, and their staff were incredible. Doug and Jim went above and beyond to make our day special. They helped with even the smallest details and relieved stress. With inclement weather pending they were flexible and accommodating; something I don't think we would've encountered at other venues. Our guests raved about the grounds and the Inn. Any couple who is looking for a beautiful and intimate venue for an elopement or small wedding should look no further. The Devonfield Inn is the perfect place to get married. The surprise gift will add to your special day - but you'll have to wait and see what it is. 😊 P.S. Shoutout to Jim for his excellent baking skills! Breakfast is to die for.

An amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The top suite is so peaceful and comfortable. Sat by the pool enjoying the scenery after a delicious homemade breakfast. The fresh baked coffee cake was the best I’d ever had. The inn keepers add to the welcoming feeling with their personal attention and kindness. A truly special inn that is a vacation in and of itself.
