Comfort Inn & Suites Lees Summit - Kansas City

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against this facility. Your website indicated that payment was not needed at time of booking and that payment was due to be taken at check-in time. However the confirmation screen indicated the request could not be cancelled or refunded at this hotel. The money was actually charged against my credit card BEFORE the day I was due to check in. This is an UNETHICAL business practice. I am wondering if the Better Business Bureau complaint should have been directed to TRIP.COM. I cancelled the reservation and had to go through the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company. Because of this frustration, I will never book a reservation at this hotel AND I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER use Trip.com. You are both UNETHICAL liars! As far as I am concerned, you can take your trip coins and shove them up your assholes!

Wouldn’t recommend till they got their bugs in the bed taken care of

Such a disappointing experience. Floors are covered with debris like it hasn’t been vacuumed in ages. Meeting room for business was subpar and didn’t seem very clean with old beat up tables. Big chunks of tile loose in the bathroom, walls are dirty. Definitely would not recommend.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. We only stayed one night since we were in town for a graduation. We arrived there about 2:30 to 3:00 in the afternoon dropped off our luggage, and went to the graduation and did not return until about 11:00 in the evening. We were so tired we just crashed. We got up the next morning and started to get ready to check out and I noticed that the bathroom was filthy. We did not even use it for a shower or anything just packed up and left. I did take a few pictures of how dirty it was. It is really to bad. There are not many hotels in the Lee's Summit MO area.

Clean. Quiet. Beds were good. We checked in very late (1 am) and other guests were hoarding the luggage carts in their room.s. So we had to carry everything to the 3rd floor. We used a rolling chair from the lobby which was better than nothing. The kind desk manager came out to the car and helped us carry things in. How thoughtful! We were very grateful for her help! I would suggest that the hotel have more than 2 carts.

The room is so dusty I’ve been having my allergies act up but as soon as leaving I’m fine. The chair has gross stains, in the morning there was no hot water so no shower. They fixed it but it will be hours for the water heater to recover. Boogers on the bathroom door. Filthy carpet in the halls where you can see stains running here and there. Stayed here a few times. Slow decline over a few years. This is my last stay ever!! We are in KC a lot and I’ve yet to find a good hotel for my go to.

If you are just looking for a place to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness and friendly, this is your place. Our room was dirty. Bedding had dried boogers on it. Bathroom was filthy. Bought cleaning supplies to clean shower ourselves. Pool looked gross.

The room has obvious water damage above and below the window with peeling paint and texture- potential mold issues inside the wall. The shower had low water pressure, and when room above ran water shower stopped putting out water completely. Advertised breakfast, but was extremely limited option and the coffee is terrible- need to go back to BREWED coffee, not instant

I don't typically leave bad reviews, but this property is hands down the worse hotel experience I have ever had. The entire establishment is in very poor repair and filthy dirty. Mold in our room HVAC units, refrigerators, and bathrooms. The front desk staff were friendly and they allowed us to move one of our rooms. The new room was cleaner, but had stained bedding and still had mold in both the bathroom and fridge. The King suite had mold and smelled horrible. The fridge froze all of our snacks so we had to purchase new for the trip home. The HVAC unit was on or off and had no temperature control. When we left in the morning for Thanksgiving with relatives with the temp set at 68 we returned to a room in the 90's. The pool was freezing cold as was the common areas of the hotel. It felt to me like some sort of cost savings gimmick by management. They did raise the temperature of the pool when we asked. The breakfast was ok and the staff was friendly. It is a very cheap hotel, but no excuse
