Our experience was wonderful. Very cute and spacious rooms. Renovated bathrooms. Great food. The price was excellent, friendly staff and the swimming pool was great. The location was very convenient for our trip to 1,000 island and the Boldt Castle, right off the highway and plenty of restaurants nearby. Great location.

We planned this quick stay-cation to Gananoque for the May long weekend. We booked the Jacuzzi Tub room - which was perfect! We didn’t even bother going out around the town because the pool was open and heated……Myself, my Husband and our 6yr old daughter had the pool all to ourselves for around 2 hours! The weather and water were perfect! My daughter and I went back out to the pool then next morning for an hour and a half before we checked out. The staff were beyond wonderful - so kind and helpful. The bagged breakfast in the morning had everything we needed - and it’s not easy impressing a 6yr old! LOL We are going back again this Canada Day long weekend and plan to go at least once more before the summer is out.

We had good memories of this Holiday Inn Express a few years ago but now on a recent visit we were underwhelmed. Our recent 2023 experience: 1) The elderly person who met us at the check-in counter didn't bother to stand up, stop what she was doing in order to greet us. That didn't make us feel like ”guests”. We were simply asked for our credit card and charged for our stay. 2) The general reception area was plain and uninviting (it could use some color). 3) We opted for a suite room and this is what we noticed during our stay: a) - the sit down desk is scratched up and needs to be refinished b) - dust was all over the base of the lamp and one of the bulbs kept flickering c) - the fireplace remote wouldn't work (battery?) d) - the sofa is shot, uncomfortable and should be replaced. e) - Various nicks and scrtches on the furniture. f) - the bed was comfortable g) - the TV needs to be reprogramed into english and the TSN5 feed fixed so it actually works right h) There were no restaurant guides or similar items in the drawers for ”guests” to familiarize themselves with the local fare or attractions. The overall impression we were left with is that they cheaped out on keeping their hotel up to a standard paying guests deserve and expect. Too bad. Next time we will choose differently.

The room is large, very clean, and the price is very reasonable. There is coffee and chocolate milk in the reception area. There is breakfast in the morning. It is less than 10 minutes away from the city. There are two supermarkets for shopping in 3 minutes.

Was a bit skeptical of this location after reading some reviews by some hockey parents. I suspect those guests were likely a challenge for the hotel. Our trip was fine. Check in as normal, comfortable and clean room and breakfast was nothing special but standard (scrambled eggs, sausage, potato, make your own waffle, fruit, bread, bagel, banana bread, coffee … Front desk was able to provide ideas for lunch/dinner. Location near 401 and some retail locations were perfect for us. If visiting the city, might consider a hotel in the downtown area but this Hampton was every bit as good as other great Hampton Inn’s that we have stayed at.

This hotel had a great location, the rooms were all full each night but was extremely quiet, very clean breakfast had many choices and was very well presented. Check in and out was super easy and front desk staff at both check in and check out were friendly. Definitely would return to this Super 8 if ever going to Brockville again.. super impressed

This motel was fairly quiet except there are trains that pass nearby. We checked in around 9:30 pm, there was a phone on the front desk that said dial zero and then someone comes out of the living quarters to check you in. The sheets on my wife's bed were wet with water and nothing else on the bed was wet which I found strange. We could not get new sheets as the desk was closed as it was around 11 pm and this is a family owned place and they were asleep. However the most galling part which I found to be rude was the next day when I went to check out I did it by the phone on the front desk. The people who owned the place could not bother to come to the desk and check me out.

GGuest UserWe stayed overnight as we were in Brockville for the Tall Ships festival. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. I asked where the ice was and the lady took me and showed me where it was. As opposed to a lot of places which only give directions to what you need. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was Hot and cooked properly. Breakfast area was clean and large enough.

In addition to being professional and efficient the staff were pleasant, friendly and so happy to help you in any way! Serving your customer well appears to be their motto. Complimentary bottled water, ear plugs, coffee/tea always available, etc was wonderful. Hot breakfast included Beds comfortable and plenty of hot water at a good pressure on top floor (floor # 4)! Easy one and off to Highway 401. Hotel located at the end of a cul de sac so it’s quiet out front. If you need lots of quiet to sleep ask for an even numbered room (i.e. on front side of bldg) - you won’t hear a thing! Having an indoor pool was also a bonus. Water temp was refreshing but not cold. Towel rack in pool was empty when I arrived for a swim but when I spoke to front desk the staff was very apologetic and someone arrived within a minute to replenish the towels! I would definitely stay here again and Highly recommend it!

XXIAOGANGGananoque is a small town. We choose to live here mainly because we are more convenient to take a boat ride on Qiandao Lake. It is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the pier. Hotel facilities are ok. Breakfast is not rich but can be full. Parking is spacious and free. Close to the hotel, so it is very convenient.

GGuest UserThe staff was amazing - super friendly and very accommodating. We booked 3 rooms which were all very clean and comfortable. The pool area was very relaxing with several picnic tables available as well. There were a lot of options to walk to for dinner. Breakfast had a really good selection and the eggs and sausages were hot. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Ganonoque!

Jjoyo52Queen Cottage was so very dark with insufficient lighting, giving it a gloomy drab feel. In contrast to the front rooms that have been recently renovated, the cottage needs renovating. The water in the bathroom was barely warm. When I phoned reception to report this, I was told to let the water run long enough to get it hot. When I told them I had done this already for 15 minutes and it was still only just warm, they then said there is nothing they can do. So no hot water. When we first moved in there were several mosquitoes in the room. The Cottage was quiet as it is at the back of the property away from the road. It was also handy to park our car right beside the cottage. The breakfast included was a good portion of scrambled eggs on toast. Having the cooked breakfast was very welcome rather than just the usual continental.

Howard Johnson in Gananoque have a jacuzzi suite room who knew? And we stayed a night at the days inn in Brockville a queen suite with jacuzzi tub close to everything spent the day shopping and looking at all kinds of stores and places to eat! Maronies best breakfast in Gananoque! Brockville Days inn had a hot breakfast eggs sausage waffles cereal it was a romantic get away close to home A nice jacuzzi tub and cold brew or white chilled on ice wine it was fun so the room was a good price would stay at both Wyndham hotels again! Who knew that Howard Johnson had a jacuzzi suite
