Good location for our visit to the Brudenell club, short walk down, if you're wanting 5 star don't bother, it's clean, rooms are basic yes true but for an overnight stay going to a gig what more is required, very good breakfast included with plenty of choice, overall if we were going to a gig at that side of town I wouldn't hesitate to book it again

Unusual venue for regular business traveller. Room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large but not the greatest of showers. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of amenities due its dual purpose outlook. However, the location close to Headingley offers plenty of places to eat and drink. There’s even a Wetherspoons within 200 yards. Nice touch from the hotel was a breakfast package in a bag, as I was leaving before breakfast was served. Ideal for someone looking for a peaceful nights stay.

A very pleasant stay in a unique property set in tranquil surroundings. Excellent customer service from all staff during the stay, combined with a very filling cooked breakfast. I will definitely be visiting again.

The environment is quiet and perfect for retreat. There are enough parking spaces and the staff service is good.

Look at the historical building in the canal building and the book is located in the busy street of university students. But the location is a bit inconvenient. I heard that there are many buses passing by when you go straight out of the gate. But if a person is carrying a heavy weight, it will be awkward. Fortunately, I can’t hold it because I don’t have a lift. It looks so beautiful. The night we arrived, it was super foggy and it seemed that Harry Potter was in the scene. I thought it would be good internally, but I found out that it is actually a good company. The environment is so peaceful and comfortable. The staff are not many but friendly. It feels like living in a dorm, so youthful

Fabulous place to stay especially if you want an easygoing, quiet, friendly stay in an historic building. Staff are wonderfully courteous, helpful and reassuring. Rooms are simple yet comfortable, perhaps harking back to the site's previous use and history. I had a very decent night's sleep. Some occasional noise from others staying but this was rare and much better than other, far more expensive places I've stayed. Some dust around bathroom vent was the only thing lacking regarding cleanliness. No refreshments in room but there is a tea/coffee facility with biscuits in a communal area opposite reception which is open 24hrs and has newspapers and good views of the front lawns and driveway. Headingley centre is a short walk away and there's a Wetherspoons across the road from the hotel if you want meals etc. Breakfast was more than sufficient in variety and quantity. Really glad I stayed.

I’ve been back to stay at Hinsley Hall several times as it is convenient for getting to the HEART centre in Headingley. As a solo traveller, Hinsley Hall always feels safe and friendly. It is peaceful, clean and comfortable. Beautiful building and grounds leading up to the hotel.

Hinsley Hall is a beautiful building in a fabulous setting, & makes an excellent value base for seeing West Yorkshire. The amenities of Headingley & Leeds City Centre are easily accessible, & the Hall is an oasis of calm. Friendly reception & super breakfast add to the outstanding ambiance.

Hinsley Hall was a lovely interesting place to stay, Staff were welcoming, It was quiet at night even though it’s in the bustling Headingley area. Breakfast was very nice, and the chef made me vegetarian sausages. My only slight complaint is there was no reachable plug sockets in our room to charge our phones.

Great place to stay. Headingley Approx. 30 mins walk into Leeds centre, though bus stop at the gates. Rooms basic, but clean, good bedding, towels, shower gel etc. Unlimited tea & coffee making facilities on each floor, with loads assorted biscuits on ground floor. Cooked Breakfast is amazing, everything fresh! Plenty other options available. Really recommend this place & do much cheaper than the usual 'chains' in Leeds centre.

It was lovely for an overnight stay - personal preference to have tea/coffee in the room! There were some squished insects all over the bathroom blind - didn’t realise how much blood a few flies create 😩 The staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome and the breakfast was really nice too!
