We booked in and my son and daughter were upgraded as they had just finished their exams. We had the dog and our room was good in the way the door opened into large green area and you could sit outside. It was busy in the eve as there was a prom on and another function and the service was slow in the restaurant. I spoke to the supervisor at reception and explained the issues we had and she could not be more helpful - we were offered drinks and lunch as a sorry which was a great gesture. We would definitely return.

Booked two family rooms at once, but they were arranged on both sides of the new building and the main building. The interiors of the two rooms are large and comfortable, but there is no elevator in the main building, and there are narrow stairs to carry luggage, but there is no problem in the new building.

The hotel is really nice but the only problem was no lift as we had a few suitcase . No bell service and we had to carry our heavy luggages up one floor. Quite a problem for old people. Breakfast was nice but pricey, weather was good and so having breakfast outdoors is a pleasure.

Like every time we stayed at the Chesford Grange, we liked it. Breakfast and restaurant is good. That is why we come back to stay there, with family or friends when we visit the NEC or Stoneleigh car shows, usually 2 times a year. But there is one item, this time, I'd like to say: we made the reservation in the beginning of this year for 3 nights for the 3 of us, and because of the hernia operation of my wife and her recovery, she couldn't come with us, I had to change the reservation for me and my son only. And, not planned, we had to leave earlier on sunday, not monday. So 2 persons instead of 3 and 2 nights instead of 3 and we were told that it was impossible to have a refund. It was at least 3x breakfast less and the change to 2 persons, I did in may. Maybe a refund is not possible but a voucher maybe ? We're coming to the NEC in november and possible in february to a Stoneleigh show, so that would be very nice for us and we would certainly appreciate this ! Best regards, Jan and Thomas

Helpful friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good food, in a clean and well organised hotel, whichnis easy to find and well located for exploring the surrounding area by car.
Drinks a bit pricey, but it is a hotel!

It feels like the hotel is primarily a conference hotel so it was very crowded. However, it provides what it says it will provide. It is friendly and clean and efficient. There are some downsides. We found the air conditioning loud. The breakfasts were OK (not great) if you were British. Three of us were Swedish and were surprised to find there was no cheese at all available as far as we could see. However there is a real positive with Chesford Grange. The evening meal was wonderful and not expensive. I recommend the evening meals at the hotel.
