First impressions lovely hotel. We stayed at the hotel on a Friday night and we could not believe how quiet it was we felt as though we were the only guests staying there. Check in was quick and the receptionist told us the hotel was full??? we asked if there was any entertainment? but she said no,we thought that was poor for a weekend night. On the positive side the rooms were amazing beautiful decor spotless clean comfortable beds tea and coffee facilities beautiful bathroom very thing was perfect in the rooms. We had an evening meal in the hotel the food was just ok but the service was very poor,wrong drinks wrong food order. Breakfast the food once again ok self service poor service from the staff. The atmosphere of the hotel is not good which is a shame as the hotel its self is beautiful.

We had a lovely stay for one night in Mulroy Woods .we had a beautiful room which was very comfortable, clean and well decorated .The en-suite was lovely ,modern and had a fabulous shower.we had a delicious meal with nice bottle of wine for dinner .service was very good .we had a delicious breakfast next morning with fresh tea/coffee,toast,cereal,fruit juices ,yogurt ,fruit ,croissants as well as fully cooked choices ,all in all a great stay and would return again

Spotlessly clean hotel. Great food and fabulous bar. Great atmosphere. Staff couldnt do enough. Love it.

Spent one night here in February (it was a Saturday). When we arrived the hotel was extremely quiet with no atmosphere with the wee bar closed. I guess this was due to how quiet the hotel was. The hotel was however occupied by a lot of refugees, which isn't mainly a problem but this information should have been disclosed upon booking as this had an impact on our experience. We spent the evening/night in the lounge and at its busiest time only had 11 people. Poor for a Saturday evening. This probably also had something to do with the very poor entertainment that was on, which in my opinion wouldn't even be allowed to play on a stage in mosney! If you're looking for a nice lively night away, this is definitely not the place to go.

We had a very restful stay at the Mulroy Woods Hotel. Despite being half term holiday week, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. Parking was available right outside the front door. The room was large, modern, with comfortable beds. Every location in the hotel was EXCEPTIONALLY clean: the room & bathroom, lobby, restaurant, corridors, downstairs public toilets, entrance foyer and lobby area, & breakfast room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was very good, especially the full fry for breakfast. the hotel was great value for money. We would definitely return on another occasion. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and 'off the beaten track' consider staying at the the Mulroy Woods Hotel.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night as part of a weekend away. Food was fine but only a limited menu was available. Lots of teenagers and kids running about, creating a lot of noise, loitering at the lift and sitting on the floor outside our room. Parents shouting at the kids in the corridor. There was also the smell of smoke in the corridor. We had to ask for a move to a quieter room which to be fair we received. Room was clean and staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately would not recommend and can’t see us returning

So disappointing...have stayed here many times over the last 15 years and always had a lovely time but not this time. Had booked the weekend for my nephew's 18th birthday - he actually made the choice. A number of issues, 1. asked for rooms together - didn't happen, 2. Issues with WiFi which hotel were unable to address - not ok as we didn't have cash - only alternative was to be charged a fee withdrawing cash nearby, 3. Hotel corridors, public areas shabby and food stained, 4. not enough staff, 5. a large part of the hotel housing refugees from Ukraine (nothing wrong with that other than we hadn't been informed and would have been OK if other issues weren't adding to an already stressful and disappointing stay,

A lot of people loitering around the hotel in corridors, hallways, lobby and outside even outside our room, kids sitting in the hallways playing games. Hotel does not seem to be like the pictures on the website we booked. The radiator in the bathroom is on constantly and the dial does not seem to work. The bed seems to sink in the middle and the mattress springs are just sprung. If you are going to offer a shower it should be walk in and out not stepping into a bath tub. Good selection at breakfast but there could be someone present at all times to keep on top of things, there were only ever max 5 people dining for breakfast and yet we had to ask for plates and bowls, the dinner was nice too.

Not sure what rating is for this Hotel but would rate 2 at best. Room we had constant noise from exterior extractor or similar. Reported same at reception. Stayed here couple of years ago and had great stay but standards not as high. Don't like leaving negative reviews but discarded meat bones beside extinguisher on way to room duration of stay also carpet requires cleaning lift area. Seemed to be plenty people lingering about Hotel grounds.
