The room design was very stylish, though the faucet not being directly over the sink took some getting used to. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The balcony offered a fantastic view, with a clear panorama of Dongpo. Just a short walk down from the hotel is Bridge No. 5, which leads directly to the bustling commercial street. The entire commercial center isn't very large; if you walk through without stopping, you can cover it all in about half an hour.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the observation deck. The floor-to-ceiling balcony windows offer a panoramic view of the entire Miao village stilt houses, with mist swirling in the mornings and a sea of lights at night – truly romantic and restorative. You get to enjoy these breathtaking views without the crowds. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and elegant, with luxurious amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtful and high-end, creating a wonderful ambiance. The butler service was attentive and thorough throughout my stay. They proactively coordinated my itinerary, arranged pick-up and drop-off at the scenic area entrance, helped with luggage, and patiently explained sightseeing tips and local cuisine. Upon arrival, I received welcome fruits, and the exquisite and delicious breakfast could even be delivered to the room. Thoughtful evening sweet soups and caring reminders were all provided, making the entire experience seamless and personal. The overall environment is elegant and peaceful, perfectly blending ethnic charm with modern aesthetics, making it incredibly photogenic. The hotel also offers Miao ethnic clothing and batik experiences. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay was comfortable and pleasant, perfectly curing travel fatigue. This is truly the best accommodation in Miao village, and I will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Xijiang. Highly recommended!

Traveling during the May Day holiday, this hotel is a prime spot in the Miao village. The stay was comfortable, though climbing up to it was quite a workout for the legs. Big props to Amu!

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The location, ambiance, and interior decor all feel fresh and inviting, especially the lobby, which cleverly combines reception, a small bar, and a restaurant, opening up to a large outdoor terrace with expansive views. The soft furnishings are a huge plus; I particularly loved the use of plants, fresh flowers, dried flowers, and large vases. However, seeing as it's advertised as a designer hotel, I have to critique it a bit. Design shouldn't just be about aesthetics; functionality matters too. 1. In our room, there was no power outlet near the kettle, so we had to put it on the bedside table to boil water. What kind of setup is that? Does the designer only drink cold water? 2. The bathroom faucet extended too far outwards, causing water to splash easily. 3. The material chosen for the sink made me constantly worry it wouldn't be cleaned properly or that any dirt wouldn't be visible. In summary, while the environment is nice, it doesn't quite live up to the rather expensive price tag.

Facilities: Excellent, really well-equipped. Ambiance: Very stylish design, especially the ground floor in the evening, which has a fantastic vibe. Cleanliness: Spotless, on par with five-star hotels. Service: The room butler was incredibly attentive. The staff member helped with our luggage the whole time, and communication via WeChat was prompt and responsive. The complimentary sweet soup at night and the nutritious breakfast were both excellent. Location: Also very convenient.

The room's location is excellent, the environment is very comfortable, and the design is superb. The butler provided full-service pick-up and drop-off, and their service response was incredibly fast. Highly recommend!

Amazing!! The butler was great, the front desk was great, and the guy who helped us with our luggage was also super nice!!! My friend and I were traveling together, and staying at this hotel really helped us recover from our fatigue!! All the hotel facilities were thoughtfully chosen!! The price is reasonable and the value for money is incredibly high!!

The views are unbeatable, and the facilities are excellent, with smart toilets and Italian brand bathroom products. The service is top-notch, and any issues are promptly resolved. The small path leading to the entrance is a bit difficult to navigate, with many steps, so avoid bringing luggage.

The service was excellent, and the hygiene was impeccable. They even provided high-end toiletries. In the evening, you can enjoy drinks and live music on the first floor. The room offered a fantastic view of the entire village. Highly recommend!

The views were absolutely incredible, even better than those from the observation deck! The service was also excellent. Since the guesthouse is located on the mountain, a butler provided pick-up and drop-off service for check-in and check-out. The butler carried our luggage with impressive speed, while we, empty-handed, still felt a bit wobbly from the climb. By the way, the Miao Village itself is quite commercialized and there wasn't much to do. Most of the joy from our trip to the Miao Village came from staying at this guesthouse.

We really appreciated how patient they were in answering all our questions, and they even helped us order food and sort out anything we needed. The stairs in Xijiang were honestly exhausting every day, but coming back to such a comfortable room made it all feel worth it. *The 270-degree corner room really hits different—so much natural light, and incredibly comfortable!

This hotel offers one of the most stunning views of the entire Miao Village — sunrise, sunset, and night views are all breathtaking. Truly magical. The hotel is located at Guan Jing Tai (Viewpoint Terrace). Be prepared for a bit of walking from the sightseeing bus station, or if you enter from Bridge No. 5, it will be an uphill climb. But the moment you reach the hotel, you’ll understand that the view is absolutely worth the effort. Room amenities are tip-top. Everything is well-maintained, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Service is exceptionally good. Special mention to 小云, who made our stay so warm and memorable. He welcomed us at the West Gate, helped carry heavy luggage up the hill, and the team even prepared a welcome drink, afternoon tea set, supper drink, breakfast, and a little farewell souvenir. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the stay. Some people say the Miao Village becomes boring after the day crowd leaves, but that’s only because they don’t stay overnight here. Staying at this hotel lets you experience the true beauty and tranquility of the village. Highly recommended — come for the view, stay for the experience

I’m very impressed with the service from all the staff . All of the staff are very helpful friendly n customer orientated the owner had really trained their staff well. I had 3 elderly travelling with me and I fretted for not packing lighter bags as I figured from reviews there were many steps to the hotel. However when I communicate with the hotel , they kindly had 2 young butler to meet us at the ticket booth at the scenic entrance. They assisted with the ticket purchase ,recommended places to eat n helped me booked the ticket to watch the cultural show . They helped us carry our luggage’s to the bus and also carried to the hotel. I am so glad. The hotel maybe a little taxing for elderly as steps are quite many , but I assure the view is one of the best n the rooms we booked were very nicely decorated n really comfortable. Highly recommended

The hotel was very stylish; every corner offered a picturesque view. The terrace had a much better view than the observation deck, and they even provided free outfits for photoshoots—a very thoughtful touch. Xiaoxing and Changfu shuttled our group of four from the ticket gate back and forth, carrying heavy suitcases up and down stairs—it was exhausting! They also provided us with helpful tips on exploring the ancient village along the way, which was incredibly kind of them. We were very grateful. Furthermore, the breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and they even had sweet fermented rice balls in the evening. They also gave us a lovely souvenir before we left, which made us very happy! 🥳
