Esperamos repetir

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Vida Santa Cristina! Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff : Very helpful and considerate. We especially want to thank Cristina. She's an angel and did so much for us. We will always have good memories when we think at Hotel Vida Santa Cristina! We were 3 pelgrims walking from Leon to Oviedo. We had a room with 3 single beds. Very comfortable beds. Lovely and very good breakfast. Great place : relaxing and green, surrounded by the mountains. We hope we can come back one day!!

we were 30 cyclists at the hotel. Approx. half had money stolen from their luggage in the rooms. When we asked the hotel to call the police, we were accused of threatening the staff - and then thrown out of the hotel. The boss Jose is completely insane

22 June 2022 08:51 To paraphrase - Do Not Stay Here! This is quite literally the worst Hotel I have ever encountered. They bill themselves as 'cycling friendly', some hope! We were a group of 10, 9 cyclists and myself supporting. The person booking the rooms had real trouble in actually convicing the new management that we had 5 double rooms booked, they stated they were full and could only accommodate us in 4 rooms (funny that most booking sites still had availability???). We also booked evening meal and breakfast...... which was a saga in itself. I arrived about an hour before the cyclists to drop the luggage - it took about 30 minutes for them to actually acknowledge that we were booked in, but denied that we actually had a meal booked and the restaurant wasn't actually open. After the cyclists arrived they did agree to provide us with food (it turned out there was another coach party already booked in for food???). Now to breakfast, they wouldn't provide any breakfast, as although we had agreed the night before we were having breakfast we hadn't paid up front, even though they hadn't asked for payment??? The place is a shambles, the 'manager' is possibly one of the most inept, arrogant and argumentative people we have ever had to deal with, it's disorganised and the services (beds/ bath/ showers etc) in some of the rooms were appalling. The place needs an overhaul, from the facilities to the management. At least Fawlty Towers was funny!
